He left saying cant give invoices on pipes as these are not given by the company (spoke to manager as well who confirmed it). Due to my need, i agreed to pay without invoice but he left, now saying he doesn’t have extra pipes. Can you see if you can help here? @EurekaforbesIN

As directed by my Leader, the Hon'ble CM of Tamil Nadu, Thiru @mkstalin, I participated in the 'Fight to Protect Federalism' protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi, under the leadership of the Hon'ble CM of Kerala, Thiru @pinarayivijayan (subtitled video attached).

In addition to the points mentioned in the D.O. letter from our Leader, I listed the many ways in which the Union Government cuts the fair share of funding to the states and then puts onerous conditions on what little funding it provides.

Without proper allocation, we are forced to borrow or seek outside investment. The Union Govt then uses unjust and underhanded methods to block our progress on those fronts also. As our Leader points out, the cumulative effect is nothing but a blatant attempt to subjugate states and reduce them to mere municipalities (at best).

I paid my respects to the forerunners who paved the path in the fight for Federalism and States' rights: Our founder Arignar Anna, 50-year Leader Thalaivar Kalaignar, and our current Leader @mkstalin. Following Anna's way, I also paid my respects to people from other political parties who had fought hard for the cause. Notably, the late ADMK leader Selvi J. Jayalalithaa and the former 3-time CM of Gujarat, Thiru Narendra Modi - one of the loudest voices for States' rights in recent times.

The fight against Authoritarian forces is likely to be long and arduous. But we must remember that:

1) No amount of money given to a society or state without the right framework (inclusion and universal education, robust and independent organizations that protect democratic norms, social and communal harmony) can ever accelerate growth or broadly improve people's lives. Only the timing of the eventual recognition of futility is unclear.

2) That a country, state, or society which constantly reinforces the right values (equitable culture, compassion, and competence) can never be quelled or subjugated by authoritarians or oppressors.

3) Other than the truth, nothing lasts forever. Everyone in office now has not always been in their office, and will not be in that office forever. As long as we live, and strengthen our values, our efforts - to protect our people, our language, our culture, and our history from the authoritarian onslaught - will eventually prove victorious.
