Tim Cook is stepping down as Apple’s CEO after 15 years. John Ternus, senior VP of hardware engineering, will replace him.

@vnbvrnt Just so it's clear, Jake Gyllenhaal isn't a being a d*&#head, and Dan Gilroy isn't a dumb bumpkin.
It's an inside joke between them referencing Megamind.

The tamoeba harvesting scene from Project Hail Mary was honestly one of the best sequences I’ve seen. The VFX is incredible, and the score goes so much harder than you’d expect (look up “Time Go Fishing”).
@TheCinesthetic Say what you want about Bryan Singer, but when I saw this opening scene, I knew I was watching that rare “sequel that surpasses the original”
At first I told myself he was just method acting in some sort of meta promotion on his Oscar campaign trail.
But now I realise that he really *is* like his character in Marty Supreme. Narcissistic and annoying.
Just to clarify, I'm all for changing the date if it means so much to the Aboriginal community. But brother, this is not the right approach... and I don't think this approach helps your cause.
So let me get this straight. You're clearly not the one hosting the BBQ coz it's Invasion Day for you. That means you've been invited to someone's house, or are at a public place with friends. Everyone around you is clearly there for Australia Day (remember that you – also – have chosen to go).
You eat their food, drink their beer... and then you repay their hospitality by talking about how they are WRONG for celebrating Australia Day? Wtf? How is this behaviour something to be encouraged?
This is the left-wing activism on the ABC that your tax dollars are paying for. Don't know about you, but I'll be firing up the BBQ on Australia Day and celebrating this great nation we all live in, without a worry in the world about what "some experts" say happened hundreds of years ago involving nobody who is alive today. Happy Australia Day 🇦🇺 ♥️

Onscreen sex – when presented thoughtfully – can be a powerful storytelling tool to reveal the hidden, conflicting power dynamics between characters.
Unfortunately, most depictions of sex are purely to titillate. If your bedroom scene doesn't advance the storyline, don't show it to me.
@stellerfly_@heartbreak_k_ I have a surname folks sometimes struggle with, and I've never – ever – in my life been offended by someone trying to pronounce it. Most people are spot-on. And if someone butchers it, that's a good icebreaker!
