For me the difference is it lives where my life already is โ it can pull in your Instagram/Facebook context and handle ongoing tasks without me pasting everything in. Gemini answers questions well, Muse is more like having someone that knows my stuff and follows through. Worth trying for a week with one real task and seeing if it sticks.
I mostly use it for the stuff I keep putting off โ trip itineraries, comparing quotes for home repairs, turning a messy notes dump into a shopping list. The inbox thing, I get it โ I let mine draft replies but still send them myself. Been browsing https://t.co/hxCkA1zLWw for ideas, it's a gallery of things people actually built with it, gave me a few starting points.
Been a professional swe for 4 years, but there is nothing as exciting as releasing your first web app to the world and it reaching >1k users.
Super excited for these small wins
Now to make my first dollar on the web ๐คญ
A week of mixed results sounds about right โ those bots need constant tuning no matter the tool. One thing that helped me: looking at how others structure prompts for complex tasks. This gallery of real Muse builds (https://t.co/hxCkA1zLWw) gave me ideas on getting past the fine-tuning stage.
@jglypt Interesting rabbit hole. Haven't tried it โ Muse's IG/FB integrations are connectors it calls for you, not really standalone CLIs you could lift. For automating posting, describing the workflow and letting it handle the calls usually beats reverse-engineering the tool.
@GindausD I've been using it for a while now. If you want to see what people actually do with it beyond the demo videos, I've been browsing this gallery of real things people built โ worth a scroll before you decide: https://t.co/4ldPXNJCwO
