#KaalaiVanakkam! Disconnect your moods and emotions from the work you have to do. This is in essence the gist of #KarmaYoga - exactly what Lord Krishna advises Arjuna during the course of the Bhagwad Gita. Separate your need for motivation from your need to get results.
#KaalaiVanakkam! You know, being cheerful, determined, positive - what a fantastic strength that is! My view, the greatest spiritual discipline is to overcome whatever bad mood life may put you in. Go on - face today with tons of cheer 😊
#KaalaiVanakkam! On the occasion of #ValentinesDay, this is the message we need. When you are a great human being, a wonderful individual, beautiful friendships happen! Be respectful. Stay within the boundaries of decorum. Be helpful. Be real. Be a genuine valentine!
#KaalaiVanakkam! Between steps 3 and 4, it is super tough! It demands the greatest intentionality from us. But once you move to step 5, it's wonderful! And step 6? Ah! That is magic ✨✨
#KaalaiVanakkam! When we are in complete surrender to the Universal Energy (I call Her God), we are in reality, complete. We have everything we need. Within us ✨

#KaalaiVanakkam! The start comes from deep within. The change that you wish to see manifested in the world, has to take birth in your own self. Wishing you the first day of transformation, today!
#KaalaiVanakkam! A bird sings because it is in its nature; there is no other utility to that music 💕This Sunday, tell stories, sing, create your own art not because it has a value but because you don't need to have all the answers to have a song worth singing ❤️

As #GlobalEntrepreneurshipWeek2025 comes to a close, we are taking a moment to highlight what drives our work every day.
Our days look like a mix of:
✨ productive energy
😵💫 occasional chaos
😂 shared laughs
☕ and much-needed coffee breaks along the way.
It’s these everyday moments, the planning, the problem-solving, the small wins, and the simple conversations—that make our work truly come alive.
As we wrap up this year’s celebration, we are grateful for the conversations, the collaborations, and the people who made this journey meaningful.
We can’t wait to return with the same spirit and enthusiasm next year.
I have a working theory about friendship, cofounders, partners, basically anyone you want to build something meaningful with.
I call it the theory of abundance.
Not money-abundance.
Energy-abundance. Attention-abundance. Emotional-abundance.
People who move through the world without hoarding affection, time, or effort. People whose default setting is generosity, not calculation.
But the catch is this: You need to be at the same level of abundance.
If you’re someone who shows up, follows through, and gives freely, and the other person is rationing their effort, the relationship becomes lopsided fast. You’ll over-function, they’ll under-function, and both of you will resent the other for completely different reasons.
And in that gap, something corrosive grows: extraction.
One person ends up subsidising the relationship with emotional labour, and the other gets used to receiving it.
So what can you do about this?
1. Abundance is a learnable skill.
Most people aren’t stingy on purpose, I think. They just haven’t examined their own scarcity habits. You can teach yourself abundance by catching your small, reflexive behaviours:
- Do you withhold praise until someone “earns” it?
- Do you delay replies because you don’t want to seem too eager?
- Do you make everything a negotiation?
- Do you keep emotional score?
Fix those micro-habits, and abundance will come naturally to you.
2. It’s not about money, but money does help.
Emotional generosity is not tied to net worth. Some of the wealthiest people are emotionally bankrupt; some of the most financially strained people are profoundly abundant.
But money removes friction, and friction drains generosity. When your basic needs are met, it becomes easier to show up fully for the people you care about. Not because money buys love, but because it buys bandwidth.
3. So how do you recognise abundance?
It’s subtle:
- They don’t make you guess if they care.
- They give without performing the generosity.
- They want your life to get bigger, not smaller.
- They don’t punish you for needing things.
- They match your effort without being asked.
- They’re excited for you without making it about them.
- They’re reliable in the boring, unsexy ways.
Abundant people aren’t perfect, but they’re very, very consistent.
And the foundation of every healthy relationship (romantic, platonic, or professional) comes down to one shared truth:
I won’t use you, and you won’t use me.
Not because we’re keeping score, but because self-respect won’t let us take from people what we aren’t willing to give back.
We can grow together.
We can stretch and adjust and evolve together.
But not at the cost of one person emptying themselves for the “us.”
The older I get, the clearer it becomes:
The opposite of abundance isn’t lack, it’s extraction.
And you shouldn’t build with anyone who feels entitled to yours.
