3. The project forms part of the Government’s broader 10,000Km Roads Programme, which seeks to upgrade selected roads to bitumen standards in order to enhance connectivity, improve mobility and support socio-economic growth across the region.
1. A delegation from the Public Private Partnership (PPP) Committee, together with Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA), conducted monitoring and inspection visits of the Annuity Lot 18 roads across Kakamega, Vihiga Bungoma and Busia Counties in the Western Region.
2.The roads, covering a total of 35.3 kilometres, are being implemented under a Finance, Design, Build, Maintain and Transfer (FDBMT) arrangement and are currently in the Operations and Maintenance phase.

The Ngong Road–Naivasha Road Flyover is set to transform mobility in Nairobi with an 800m elevated dual carriageway, pedestrian walkways, cycling lanes and modern drainage systems. Once complete, the project will cut travel time between Ngong Town & Nairobi CBD
