🇺🇦 Selenskyj gibt Ziel aus: Kriegsende noch vor dem Winter 🇷🇺
Bei einer Beratung mit den Leitern aller ukrainischen Auslandsvertretungen in Kyjiw erklärte Präsident Wolodymyr Selenskyj laut RBC-Ukraine, die Ukraine werde alles tun, damit Russlands Angriffskrieg noch vor Beginn des Winters 2026 endet.
Wörtlich sagte er: "Wir werden uns sehr bemühen, dass das vor dem Winter, im Herbst, passiert." Zugleich räumte er ein, man wisse genau, mit wem man es zu tun habe – Putin hoffe, den Krieg weiter in die Länge zu ziehen. Der Kreml bereite eine neue Mobilisierung und neue Angriffe vor.
Den Botschaftern gab Selenskyj als Jahresaufgabe vor, die diplomatische Front mit den Partnern maximal zu unterstützen. Als Hebel gegen Moskau nannte er diplomatischen Druck, ukrainische Langstreckenschläge, Mitteldistanz-Angriffe sowie neue Sanktionspakete der Partner. Wann genau diese Instrumente greifen, lasse sich nicht zu hundert Prozent vorhersagen, so der Präsident.
Es ist nicht die erste Ansage dieser Art in diesem Sommer: Bereits im Mai und Juli wurde über ähnliche Fristsetzungen berichtet, zuletzt bei Selenskyjs Auftritt vor dem Europäischen Rat. Neu ist diesmal die klare Verknüpfung mit der drohenden russischen Mobilisierungswelle – ein Punkt, der die Frist zusätzlich unter Druck setzt: Je länger sich der Krieg hinzieht, desto mehr Menschen wird Moskau in die Schützengräben schicken.

The Kremlin is learning the hard way that you cannot hide three refineries in one city. Ukrainian drones hit Ufaneftekhim yesterday and Bashneft today in Ufa. That's not random. That's systematic degradation of Russia's refining base while their army burns through fuel faster than they can replace it.

Every lost ton of capacity puts more pressure on their logistics. Moscow keeps pretending these are pinpricks. Reality says otherwise: their rear is burning weekly and they have no answer except more Pantsirs on apartment roofs. Pathetic.

Winning a war of attrition takes serious staying power. Keep it coming.

This week, 16 of our regions were under attack. During that time alone, the Russians launched around 1,900 drones, nearly 1,600 aerial bombs, and 144 missiles of various types, including ballistic missiles. Today, Sumy was struck by aerial bombs. In Brovary, one person was killed in a drone strike, and six people were injured. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region remain under constant attack. Overnight, Russia also struck the Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, and Dnipro regions. This week, more than 1,500 sites have been damaged, including hundreds of ordinary residential buildings.

A significant number of Russian enterprises working to sustain these attacks by producing components for drones, missiles, and guided aerial bombs have still not been sanctioned. That is why the aggressor is investing more and more in its ballistic weapons capability and is trying to ramp up production. Pressure is needed on every segment of Russia's defense-industrial complex, and that is exactly the pressure that will ultimately help reduce the number of attacks against our people. BROWDER: Putin never wanted to give up power. Once he got in, he wanted to stay in. Which I think is the same for Trump.

What did Putin do after he got power? He went to all the different institutions that had power that weren’t his.

In Russia, they had regional governors, and Putin changed constitution so regional governors weren’t independently elected, they were effectively appointed.

So he eliminated that source of power. Then Putin looked around and said, I don’t really like independent media.

What did he do about that? He basically took over all television stations so that the state controlled all TV stations. Sounds familiar?

Then after Putin did that, they went around and started to threaten journalists, imprison journalists, and kill journalists.

So far in the United States, journalists are threatened, but nobody so far has been imprisoned and nobody has been killed.

Then of course in Russia the judges were all scared of either dying, going to jail, or losing their jobs.

So for all important decisions, the judges would call up the Kremlin and ask how they should rule on a case.

So, you control media, judicial system, and in case of Russia, they control parliament, but that’s already under control in United States.

Then there’s really nothing stopping a dictatorship from accumulating a huge amount of power and a kleptocracy from accumulating a huge amount of money.

No. Supporting Ukraine is not a threat to us — it is an investment in our own security.

My grandfather fought the Soviets when they launched their illegal war of aggression against Finland.

He would have condemned Russia’s invasion with words X would probably censor.

There is a reason Finland stands firmly with Ukraine: we know Moscow. We know what happens when aggression goes unanswered.
