I was born in Mùrang'a.
I learnt Kikuyu before kiswahili & English.
I was Kikuyu first even before i knew there's a place called Kenya.
I have no apologies for that.
Kenyans are not fighting foreigners from Burundi,Rwanda,Tanzania, Somalia,Nigeria, Sudan,Uganda,Congo etc..
It's Govt goons executing a crafted idea by Ruto. Remember he declared Kenya as visa free & now pretending to solve the problem he created. Nonetheless they should leave.
The world map you've known all your life is wrong! Nearly every country at the UN voted to adopt a new map that shows a more accurate size of Africa after ~500 years of "symbolic minimization."
Only the US voted against it.
I explained why this is important on CNN
@Bookten8 Mkichezewa Amapiano na huelewi umenyamaza, wakiweka Benga na Lingala hakuna shida, lakini wakicheza Kikuyu unataka kuleka ukabila wako hapa.....tapika ukufe, everybody must enjoy their culture......Thika dual carriage iko Murima,ya Mau Summit after Nakuru mtacheza whatever
Poor mentality & entitlement for driver to tune the radio once passengers board the vehicle.
The driver is listening to his favourite. Uliingia gari kuskiza radio? If so,get some earphones.
Furthermore Thika is in Kiambu county.
Congratulations President William Ruto. This is the move I've been waiting for. But still ni wantam ☝️.
You declared Kenya as visa free & let all garbage in. It's your mess to clean. Foreigners are scrambling on the little opportunities Kenyans have.
🚨💣Mo Salah is being treated in Turkey in the strangest way you'll ever see a player treated in your life. 😳
Salah is getting a treatment in Turkey that neither Messi nor Ronaldo ever got in their entire careers
The mayor of Yorma municipality in Trabzon, "Mustafa Bey," decided to honor Salah after learning he'd be staying in his town
He said he's extremely proud that the greatest player in the history of Turkish football will live in his region, and for that reason, he proposed changing the name of the street where Salah will live to "Mohamed Salah Street"
Turkey is making the most of Salah in the best way to promote itself, in exchange for Salah getting other perks like a salary and so on

On a very sharp contrast; Uhuru Kenyatta recommended wrapping meat with newspapers when newspaper headlines agitated him. William Ruto recommends abduction & torture to the newspaper editors. Major times indeed😰

PRESS STATEMENT
Nairobi, Kenya

STANDARD GROUP CONDEMNS ABDUCTION OF ITS SENIOR EDITOR, DEMANDS HIS IMMEDIATE AND SAFE RELEASE
The Standard Group PLC confirms that shortly before 9:20pm this evening, our Associate Editor, Alex Kiprotich, was abducted along the Gilgil–Nakuru road while travelling to Nakuru. We do not know where he is as we issue this statement.
This is the second time in as many months that Mr Kiprotich has been targeted. On 27 June 2026, armed men in a Toyota Probox a vehicle model repeatedly linked to enforced disappearances of government critics in Kenya, tried to seize him from his car as he drove to work in Nakuru. He got away by locking his doors and driving off. That attempt came days after President William Ruto publicly criticised this Group over its coverage, and our own investigations traced the vehicle to the National Police Service's Crime Research and Intelligence Bureau. No one has ever been held to account for it.
Tonight, that threat has been carried out.
We do not believe this is a coincidence. Mr Kiprotich has been at the forefront of our editorial output, including reporting that has scrutinised the conduct of the State, and tonight's abduction bears all the hallmarks of a targeted attack on a journalist for doing his job.
We believe it may be linked to elements within the State seeking to intimidate this Group into silence. If that is confirmed, this is not simply a crime against one man. It is an assault on the Constitution of Kenya, on the freedoms of expression and of the media guaranteed under Articles 33 and 34, and on the right of every Kenyan to independent information.
We say this plainly and without equivocation: the Standard Group holds the State responsible for Alex Kiprotich's safety and his life, and for anything that happens to him while he remains missing. Protecting the life and liberty of every citizen is the State's first duty, not an afterthought, and Mr Kiprotich's safety now rests entirely in its hands.
We are demanding:
1. The immediate, safe and unconditional release of Alex Kiprotich.
2. A prompt, transparent and independent investigation into his abduction, and into why no one has ever answered for the attempt of June 27, 2026.
3. Real, visible guarantees that journalists in Kenya will be protected, in keeping with commitments the President has already made publicly and has so far failed to honour.
We are calling on the Independent Policing Oversight Authority, the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights, the Law Society of Kenya, the Media Council of Kenya, the Committee to Protect Journalists, and everyone who values a free press in this country, to demand answers alongside us until Mr Kiprotich is found safe.
We will keep the public informed as we learn more, and we will not let this matter quietly fade from view.

The Inspector General of the National Police Service, Mr. Douglas Kanja, MGH, CBS, OGW, today donned the newly introduced Service uniform, underscoring the Service’s ongoing dedication to reforms, professionalism and excellence in policing.
More than a mere aesthetic change, the new uniform serves to motivate officers, boost morale, project a professional image, and enhance public visibility as they continue to fulfil their mandate of serving and protecting Kenyan citizens, residents, and visitors alike.
This is what the Lord is saying today.
I’d normally only post the KJV, but I think you’ll understand why the NIV may cut through a little more to newer believers.
The Lord richly bless you.
