Aspiring 3D artist | General anthro character art, some size trash | Won't post NSFW, but might fave some. | Pfp by: @astrobelisk | (Comms currently closed)
I don't think I'll be posting in this hellhole anymore either, other than linking to an alt site (ie:bsky) if I ever set that up. Leaving up the last couple pieces but I've taken down everything else. Whatever happens, thanks for enjoying my art.
For personal and health reasons I am going to cancel+refund every pending commission and focus on work for the foreseeable future. Given how things are, it's not an extra layer of stress I'm willing to deal with.
@deCumpuss I wouldn't know, honestly... if it's any help the terrain was simply displacement maps + tree assets (placed with geo nodes, I looked up a random tutorial on that) and the city I built by modeling a few repeatable modular pieces.
Mandatory (mega)macro trash content. A bit overkill, had to do 3 zoomout shots to try and convey the scale but, eh, experimental and it shows some of the closeup details.
Targeting a couple specific friends with these (you know who you are).
@0dstny The dragon character is an extra boss from a DQ spinoff and the environment was loosely inspired by the arena you fight him - with a lot of creative liberties because in game it was five boxes and an octagon (Wii game) :p
Why do a nice, simple and quick spinning turntable to show off a model when, instead, you can struggle trying to make something more convoluted than its makeshift rigging supports?
This was not animation ready at all but it's ok because neither am I โฐ๏ธ
Also I'm bad at coming up with names so obscure reference will do for the party members :^)
