2022年1月にたまたま見たメモリーズで突然LBHに堕ちました（あの瞳にやられた）。SG2でどうしても語りたくなり。

Inho’s deep emptiness and…

This is my take on Inho in season 3. It’s a first look impression and thoughts are everywhere so forgive me.

One of the things I was really glad watching Sguid Game season 3, I felt my analysis of Inho of season 2 https://t.co/GweU5sd9IP was close enough with what I got in season 3.

Difference is that, I said old Inho in him is screaming for help. Watching season 3, I feel Inho doesn’t want to be saved.

Majority of the time what I got from Inho is his deep emptiness. For me, it is clear he didn’t enjoy the games and hosting VIPs at all. Maybe he was more willing in season 1, but now, it seems he was doing it only because it was what he does. He did it efficiently as a host, but I couldn’t help but deep emptiness in him in season 3. Like he didn’t want to feel anything. I feel he covered his emotions with thick armor and covered with emptiness.

I think I really get what LBH said “Small part of him wanted Gihun was right and cheering for him.” It’s really “a small part of him”. I actually could see it expressed exactly accurately in his face when he saw Gihun didn’t kill and walked away and that was amazing. Inho was filled with emptiness. Almost completely but a tiny part of him, there’s still good soul. Tiny.
I saw his what it left of good soul when he offered VIPs that let the baby participate the game. It’s clear that he wanted to save the baby and participating the game was the only option the baby would have a chance to live. I guess that once the game starts, you have to obey the rules of the game. Even the host cannot just let a player to quit and live. You can give a player some support, but not just quit and live.
Same goes when he gave Gihun a knife. He knew Gihun would never let the baby go. Gihun would most likely die with/without the baby in next game. He wanted both of them to live. So he offered Gihun the best chance to survive. Of course part of the reason was a challenge. Whether he could resist the temptation to kill someone in cold blood to survive. But part of him actually wanted them to survive. The tension of look on his face while watching Gihun put the knife on one of the players’ throat was palpable. And slight change of his facial expression and sighs when Gihun didn’t kill and walked away, it’s expressed very complicated emotions. Big parts of him tried to suppress his feelings but the emotion was leaking on his face. Sadness that Gihun would likely to die with his decision, and there was unmistakable “awed” feeling, admiration that Gihun didn’t give in, while he did when he was given the same offer and it most likely destroyed himself inside. Flashback scene was amazing, too. I know makeup helped but even so, he really looked young and more vulnerable and completely different from him now. This whole scene was really showcase of actor LBH. And after watching his flashback, I think I can stand with my analysis in season 2, mingle game was really a turning point. Until then Inho could have regain his old self, but killing an innocent player with his own hand brought him back when he killed players in 2015 and destroyed old him again. He didn’t fully back to Frontman before he become Youngil, I think he was not fully sure what he does now, but his emptiness got deepen.

When there were only Gihun and the baby were left before final round started, Inho knew exactly what Gihun would do. I think Gihun might not believe in other person’s humanity anymore, but he refused to lose his own humanity. Gihun’s action also saved Nouel, who lost hope for humanity and tried to kill herself. She stopped and decided to live again when she saw Gihun sacrificed himself for the baby. She realized she could still believe in humanity.
Inho approached to Gihun’s body and took off mask. His face showed no emotion but he took a little time like paying respect. The way he stared and look away reminds me of when he looked down when Junho dropped down the cliff. Hiding emotion but feel it’s there underneath. He left Gihun’s body there without even closed his eyes(it shows he kept distant emotionally) but he hold the baby carefully and secured with him.

I think only person who can save Inho from his emptiness is Junho (if Inho deserves to be saved is another thing.). Inho knew Junho could crack his armor. He almost did in season 1. If he cracks, the guilt would crash him. He didn’t want it. He just wanted to stay in emptiness and darkness. So he shut himself even more with Junho. He actually ordered to kill Junho. When Junho finally reached and saw Inho with distant, pointing a gun to him, he looked at him with distant as if he wanted to be shot by him. I could hear him inner voice saying “Go ahead, shoot me.” It’s not a challenge. I think he was OK to be killed by Junho at that moment. When Junho didn’t pulled a trigger, Inho turned around and left without answering Junho’s “why?” Like when he faced with Gihun, showing no emotion. I feel his emptiness strongly. But later, he left the baby to Junho. I think it because Junho is the only person he trusted with humanity. The fact he entrusted Junho with the baby tells Inho still has a good soul somewhere and is cared for both Junho and the baby. And narratively, this event would lead Junho to start searching Inho again, because he surely knew this was from his brother.
(Btw, it is kind of fun and funny to think Inho raised the baby by himself for 6 months. Did he really? I don’t know. And yes, the name put on the deposit card should be the baby’s instead of Junho’s but I decided that it because if you make it the baby’s card, you have to put the name of the baby on it and Inho thought he didn’t deserve to name the baby so he put Junho’s name. And he knew Junho wouldn’t spend money for himself.)

Inho visited Gihun’s daughter and handed Gihun’s used uniform and money (in card). I think major reason is he did it as the host of the game, that’s what he should do: give the money where it belongs, not that’s what Gihun would want (evidence is that the box had the game’s logo). But he brought it himself and met his daughter means something. Maybe he wanted to meet her. Maybe he wanted to tell her Gihun cared for her (not that he actually said anything comfort but his grief was evident in his eyes). He also gave her Gihun’s uniform with blood still on. Maybe he wanted to give her actual evidence of Gihun. For a memento. After all his uniform was actually the only thing he could give. But when I think about it, if I was a daughter and got the father’s clothes with the blood on and told he died, I would want to know how he died and start searching for. If she does, she might find out about the game and that’s the last thing Gihun would want for his daughter. No. I don’t think Inho is that kind of person who leads Gihun’s daughter to participate the game. That’s too devilish. No. Maybe if she finds out, he would want to tell her what kind of person he was, how he died to save a baby (well, maybe Youngil would but he’s dead).

In the very last scene, seeing a recruiter on the street of US(clearly leads to American spinoff and sure I was surprised and laughed there was no other than Kate Blanchett there), look on Inho’s face was more like resignation, than confirmation. I wonder where he goes from here.

All in all, I’m glad season 3 didn’t destroy my view of Inho rather strengthen my view, made me to want think about him more and want to see more of him.

If we ever get the story of Inho/Frontman, what I want to see is aftermath story. How Gihun affected him, and final face-down with Junho (it must happen). Full of flashback with his past include time with family and 2015 game. I doubt it will actually happen now, and it’s fine. But if it will, I would like to see how HDH and LBH will make it (I’m pretty sure LBH will fully involve making Inho’s character if it happens).

Inho’s emptiness and glimpse of hope… or not.

This is my take on Hwang Inho in Squid Game Season 2.
This is VERY long. And maybe my overactive brain has gone too far.
If you enjoy, I’d be so grateful. If you don’t, please leave it.
(And be aware that I’m not a native English speaker so some of my choices of words might be inaccurate.)

So.

Inho’s face right after he killed a man during mingle game has been sticking in my mind since I first watched the show.

Dazed. Blank.

It is not the face I’d expect from cold blooded killer.
I’ve been wondering what does this represent.
And now, I think I figured it out. At least I’m satisfied with my thought.

在宅医療提供側の立場からお話すれば確かに「日々のケアに苦しんでおられるご家族」がいるのも事実だが、すみれちゃんは別のビデオだと走り回って「他の子供と楽しそうに遊んでいる」わけで、その子に対して「安楽死」はいくらなんでも乱暴過ぎる意見。そしてご両親、特にお母様が昼間だけでも「ケアの労務から解放」されるとどれだけ救いになるかわからないのでこの保育園の「社会的役割」は非常に大きい。

もちろん「障害児保育」や医療に強い「児童発達支援」などが受け皿になることも考えられるが、一方でそういった事業所は「全然足りていない」し、また疾患によっては受けられないと「断られることも多い」のが現実だ。制度的にはこういった「保育園に看護師が訪問看護」にお伺いすることもできるようになったはずだが、こちらもまだまだお受けできる訪問看護ステーション自体は少ないと推測する。

そのような中で、この奈良市の保育園での取り組みは素直に「素晴らしい」といえる。もちろん「保育現場のご苦労」や「周囲からの心無い批判」などはあるだろうが、一緒に遊ぶ「子どもたちにとっても良い経験・教育」になるのではないだろうか。そして何よりお母様が昼間に解放される時間が生まれ、結果として「買い物」等はもちろん体力次第だろうが「パート等での社会参加」に繋がる可能性も出てくる。

少子高齢化に伴い、「社会保障費適正化」の議論はもちろん必要だが、こういった匿名者からの差別的な「極論」、いや「暴論」に関しては医療提供側の見地から「明確に否定」しておかないと、さらに重症な患児をお持ちのご家族が「生きづらさ」を感じてしまうことになりかねない。たまたま何不自由なく生きている私も含めた「日本人」は、障害をお持ちの方や高齢者の「基本的人権」そしてそこに包含される「生存権」を守る義務があるはずだ。最近、匿名での投稿が容易なXでは「情けない日本人が炙り出されて」しまっていて、残念と思うのは私だけだろうか。

ここを理解すると、「進化的に有利だから正しい」という議論のかなりの部分が崩れる。

進化には「種を繁栄させよう」という意思も、「優秀な遺伝子を残そう」という計画もない。ただ、その環境で結果的に繁殖に結びついた形質が、世代を経て残りやすかったというだけ。

しかも自然選択が最大化しているのは「種全体の幸福」でも「文明の発展」でもない。だから自然界には、病気も障害も老化も不妊も、同種間の殺し合いも存在する。自然に存在することと、人間社会が望ましいと判断することはまったく別問題なんですよね。

ここを混同すると、「子孫を多く残せる＝価値が高い」「繁殖しない性行動＝不自然」のように、生物学上の記述をそのまま倫理上の命令へ変換してしまう。

でも文明とは、むしろ自然選択に従順になることで発展したものではない。

近視なら眼鏡をかける。感染症なら治療する。弱った人を社会で支える。生殖しない人生も認める。私たちは自然界なら不利になり得る条件を、技術や制度や倫理によって何度も無効化してきた。

進化論は「人間がどう生まれてきたか」を説明する理論であって、「人間をどう扱うべきか」を決める倫理学ではない。

自然が選別するから、人間も選別すべきなのではない。

自然が容赦なく選別してきた世界に対して、「それでも選別される側の尊厳を守ろう」と言えるところに、文明の意味があるんだと思う。

驚いたことにNHKのニュースを見ていたら、水没車から「出られない」という119番通報を受けた消防担当が、的確な指示を出せていない！窓ガラスまで水没する前ならパワーウインドゥで開く（信じない人もいるけれど試せくらいの指示は出すべき）。さらに天井まで20cmくらいの水位になるまで待てば、少しチカラ入れれば普通にドアを開けることが出来る。

窓ガラスを割るハンマーがなくても、ヘッドレストの金属部分を使い割る方法だってある。119番担当がこういった知識を持っていないだけでなく、教育もされていないことに愕然とした。100歩譲って今回は何の役にも立たなかったことを反省し、次の自然災害に備え対策を練るべきだと思う。具体的には緊急通報時の内容を音声入力でいいからAIにも入力することだ。

水没時にクルマから脱出する方法はAIで出てくる。ちなみに以下はグーグルのAIに「クルマが水没したらどうやって車外に出る？」と質問した時の回答。しっかりステージ別に対応方法を教えてくれ、どの段階にも脱出用ハンマー無しでの対応策が含まれている。119番通報を受ける人のレベルは、今やAIにとうていおいつかないことを強く認識すべきである。

ステージ1：水がまだ窓より下にあるとき　1)まずは落ち着いて窓からの脱出を試みます。2)電気系統が生きているうちにパワーウィンドウを開けます。
ステージ2：水圧でドアが開かず電気系統が壊れて窓が開かない場合　1)緊急脱出用ハンマーを使う。2)ハンマーがない場合シートのヘッドレストを抜き取り、その金属製のステー（棒）をサイドガラスの隙間に深く差し込んで、てこの原理で手前にこじ開けるようにすると割れる。
ステージ3：窓も割れず、完全に車内に水が入ってきたとき　道具がなく窓がどうしても割れない場合は、あえて車内に水が満ちるのを待ちます。 1)水位が上がるのを待つ。車内外の水位の差がなくなると、ドアにかかる水圧の差が消えます。2)車内の水深が胸や首のあたりまで来たら大きく息を吸い込み、足を踏ん張って体全体の力で一気にドアを押し開けて脱出します。

その他、様々な救援の要求があると思う。適切な対策をレクチャー出来ないと、命を救うことなど出来ない。今回の被災を教訓にぜひAI対応を取り入れて頂きたい。と、お願いしても、我が国の役人は「私失敗しないですから」で動こうとしない。119番通報もさることながら、電話出来るのなら119番通報と平行してネット検索をして見て欲しい。じゃなければ知人に電話しネット検索を頼もう。

7月7日に放送された「#報道1930」でノンフィクション作家の保阪正康氏が示唆に富む発言をされていたので共有させていただきます。（その1）

「皇室典範の意思決定の進め方というのは、この法律だけの問題ではないと思うんです。国旗損壊罪や情報公開をめぐる問題、憲法改正など、そういった一連の政策と一体化しているのではないかと懸念しています。

4月29日の昭和の日の式典でも、天皇陛下に発言をさせない方向に持っていっているのではないか、と感じる場面がありました。昭和時代の歌を歌わせたり、当時の映像を流したりはするけれども、今の天皇陛下ご自身には発言をさせない。

また、高市総理大臣が天皇陛下のもとへ、ほとんど内奏にも行っていないという話も聞いています。逆に言えば、天皇を昭和10年代のような存在にしておこうとする、そういう発想があるのではないか。そして、それがさまざまな政策と連動しているのではないか、と私は感じています。政治的な見方が過ぎると言われるかもしれませんが、そういう懸念を持っています。

もう一つは、象徴天皇制そのものが、これによって壊れていくのではないかということです。
象徴天皇制というのは、戦後の歴史の中で、天皇ご自身も努力を重ね、国民もそれを受け止めながら、「国民統合の象徴」としての新しい天皇像を、ともにつくり上げてきたものです。
その積み重ねを、今、壊そうとしているのではないか。
もっと簡単に言えば、近代日本をきちんと学んでいない人たちの天皇観、その怖さというものを、私はひしひしと感じています。

イラン南部の女子小学校が米イスラエルの空爆を受け、175人が死亡した。生存者たちは、一度目の攻撃で負傷した子供たちと、迎えに来た親や救急隊を狙った二度目の攻撃があったと証言。米国防長官は「民間人は標的にしない」と否定したが、過去の米軍の戦争では40万人以上の民間人が殺されている。

➢ 救助者ごと抹殺する「待ち伏せ爆撃」

イラン南部ミナーブの女子小学校で発生した空爆は、残虐性の新たな段階を示している。生存者や救急隊員の証言によると、攻撃はいわゆる「ダブルタップ」戦術で行われた。これは一度目の爆撃で負傷した人々と、それを救助しようと集まった親や救急隊員を、二度目の爆撃でまとめて殺戮する手法だ。

ある父親は学校からの連絡で駆けつけたが、娘は完全に焼け焦げ、彼女と判別できたのは、手に握ったランドセルだけだった。「仕事から帰ったときの娘の笑顔が、私のすべての疲れを癒してくれた。今はこの痛みをどう生きていけばいいのかわからない」と彼は語る。

➢ 「民間人を標的にしない」という虚構

米国のヘグセス国防長官は「我々は民間人を標的にしない」と述べ、調査を約束した。しかし、この言葉は過去の戦争の歴史と矛盾する。米軍はベトナム戦争中のラオスで学校を標的とした極秘爆撃を行い、182人を虐殺。イラクやアフガニスタン、パキスタンでも同様の学校攻撃を繰り返してきた。

さらに今回のイラン攻撃では、日没後の「イフタール（断食明け）」で賑わうテヘランの広場も爆撃され、血まみれの惨劇が発生。ある生存者は「二発目が炸裂した瞬間、友人の体が真っ二つになり、脳の破片が飛び散った」と証言する。

📌 なぜ「助けに来た人」を殺すのか

これは単なる戦争の範囲を超えている。「ダブルタップ」は、敵戦闘員を無力化する戦術ではなく、民間人の同情心や連帯感そのものを破壊する行為だ。子供を助けようと駆けつけた親たち、負傷者を救おうとした救急隊員―彼らを「標的」にすることは、人間の尊厳と倫理に対する根源的な攻撃である。

国際刑事裁判所が戦争犯罪として追及するこの行為を、米国防総省はまたしても「調査中」の言葉で煙に巻こうとしている。私たちは「民間人は標的にしない」という美辞麗句の裏で、何が起きているのかを直視しなければならない。

アル・ハブトゥールは単なる批判者ではない。彼は体制側の人物だ。コネもある。UAEのエリート層が公然とトランプの意思決定を疑問視し始めたということは、アメリカにとって最も親密なアラブ同盟国が「我々はこんなことに同意した覚えはない」と表明しているのだ。

書簡はこう結ばれている：「真のリーダーシップは戦争の決断で測られるのではなく、知恵と他者への敬意、そして平和達成への推進力によって測られる」
