@leftlefthz@quellerdemon Once again an individual choosing a label for themselves does not have the power to invalidate someone ELSES gender or sexuality. Until you mature enough to realize this you will continue to be upset by other queer people existing, kind of like homophobes and transphobes are.
@D1VinHater@mrrfishyfish Incredibly the way that an individual identifies is not actually a pattern it’s their identity. You could use your statement against any group of people exhibiting a behavior you personally dislike. This is a you issue that you are making marginalized people’s problem
@harkgriddle@Jac1330 Telling people they can have sex but not talk about it is still policing others sexual choices. Straight up suggesting a “don’t ask don’t tell” for anyone that doesn’t have the same sex life as you
Hot take but we are never advancing any discussion about trans men's oppression as long as cis women are dead set on thinking that they can never ever oppress trans men or perpetual violence against them
@D1VinHater@mrrfishyfish The circumstances in which a trans man chooses to keep using the lesbian label are extremely nuanced and very individual to them and the person they are in a relationship with. If those 2 don’t feel invalidated by his use of the label that’s what matters, this is a non issue
@leftlefthz@quellerdemon Nah I just think that the person in this convo who thinks someone else’s choice of labels actually impacts them at all is the one spouting transphobic nonsense
@mrrfishyfish How does the way that a VERY small part of the trans population identifies affect other trans men? How secure you feel in your gender has nothing to do with how other people behave, but with your own internal growth.
@mrrfishyfish Your head would probably explode to try and conceive that I am bigender use he/she pronouns and I STILL identify as a trans man bc that’s what I am AND I’m fully accepted in IRL queer spaces, you will never control how queer people express themselves stop acting like a cop
@mliostt@A12324561A@georgia_holliee@corporatecake I was blocked but for anyone else the entire argument rests upon placing the blame for men’s actions upon women. We must stop blaming women for what men do or we are just restricting women not freeing them
@mrrfishyfish Every word of this is more transphobic than the one before if you really just hate trans mascs trans men and lesbians who don’t follow your specific rules. Too bad they don’t have to bc you’re just a person and not god lmfao
@mrrfishyfish Tell me what is transphobic about it without enforcing arbitrary rigidity upon other people’s identities. Telling people how they HAVE to act or behave to be trans is what is actually transphobic
@iciatt I didn’t assume anything I stated if you aren’t trans then you don’t get an opinion. You aren’t just as entitled to an opinion on this as “anyone else” because “anyone else” doesn’t get an opinion only trans people. Now. Are you trans?
I think c1s people lesbians included should just stop speaking on trans people. This is a C1S person saying “akkkchullyyy, this trans person DIDNT experience transphobia because I, the accused, have said so!” then spewing more immense transphobia
i broke up with an ex because the moment he told me he was actually a trans man i immediately lost all attraction towards him, since i am a lesbian and do not like men. later, i found out that he went on to tell many people how transphobic i was to him.
@leftlefthz@quellerdemon 2woke but not woke enough to comprehend that an individual’s choice of and relationship to a label does not affect you in any way and that this is divisive behavior you are engaging in
