@magna37880208 The film left me feeling uneasy. Your observations regarding the camera angles/ the way that characters viewed as "aggressors" were filmed from above in an attempt to present an inaccurate portrayal of who they really leading to these racial tensions that persisted in the film.
@ElizabethC72134 You brought up a really good point that I missed the first time I watched the movie, but now that I've watched it again, I can see how the temperature played a role in evoking these feelings of frustration and how the racial tensions were shown.
@DenisseMar35985 I agree that the FCC shouldn't censor the internet the same way that it censors network television as well because people need to be educated on certain things and they should be able to access information without limitations and being able to express themselves.
@magna37880208 I agree, FCC shouldn't control the internet the same way that it does television because, as you mentioned, it has far too many regulations that restrict any potential for development. I also agree that people need to have unrestricted access to the internet for self-expression.
@dvictoriacas I agree with you since there are still many shows that launch on cable, such as shows on Nickelodeon, that people would sit down and watch/discuss with their friends. Overall, cable has had a long-lasting effect that continues to bring people together.
@SanjidaK05 I agree with you because people who watch cable tend to experience a feeling that they can feel a part of and connect to with others. This may result in, as you mentioned, shared views and opinions about specific shows, giving them a feeling of unity.
@SanjidaK05 I agree with you because, while social media allows individuals to express themselves, there are still many other aspects that make it difficult to determine what is sincere and what is not. This is how things such as disinformation, and misinformation spread, which is a problem.
@DenisseMar35985 I agree with you because social media has a lot of power and it can influence individuals in a negative or positive way. Overall, we must be cautious about how we utilize social media and what we can learn from it.
