Here’s the attempt at plausible deniability:
“We didn’t suppress the Epstein story, it just didn’t perform.”
But when you’re saturating attention with scandalous pop news and engineering virality for it, the ‘competition’ is intentionally rigged.
One of the most effective levers in narrative control isn’t direct suppression, it’s distraction. Flood the system with emotionally potent but politically harmless content just as a dangerous truth is surfacing.
Only there, at the end of all tongue,
At the end of all voice
Even my own
Did I find
The inexpressible moment,
The kindred of presence,
The disclosure of life.
I went to the scholars,
To the volumes of learnedness,
To the greats among us, to find.
I plumbed the depths of language,
And listened intently to hear
But no comfort was found,
No solace for ache was there.
No word in words that could speak.
Live as if coherence matters. Live as if the sacred is real. Live as if love will win, not because it’s easy, but because it’s the only story that can carry the weight of being.
We grow up normalizing everything because we’re just born into it, but some of us figure out that all this didn’t have to be this way and that a lot of f***ed-up self-centered choices from people in power got us here. I’m now in the business of sorting out what to do about it.
