Kurtulmak: to be saved.
Earth is not home it's just the place we visit until our bodies expire.
To quote Zeppelin I am a traveler through both time and space.
@Positive_Call None of the problems in my past were my fault. I don't have to let my pain define me. I have the freedom to be who I truly deserve and desire to be.
@ML_Philosophy I'm only 47 but I've lived an extremely full and wonderful life. I have no regrets. My only hope is that I continue to life out my days free of the fear of the opinions of others and stay true to myself. Having retired at an early age I just want some peace in my life now.
Celebrating eight years of retirement, after 18yrs active US Army.
Honorable discharge, 100% permanent and total disability, great care through the VA, awesome family, ,and finally having the opportunity to figure out who I am and what I want to be when I grow up. LOL
Perhaps it's time for a new generation of real leaders. People who can be trusted to put the needs of the citizens of the United States before their own selfish needs. If there is to be any hope, it would be that every criminal in government would immediately step down.
@POTUS I was a nuclear/electrical engineer with the US military. We were the ones who set up electrical systems all over the world for the military and civilians in times of disaster and war. Never in all my years have I heard such a bold faced lie about electrical power consumption.
@POTUS The truth...
There is little to zero chance that any program the government creates, is designed for the sole purpose of supporting the people. As long as they cling to current ideology, the rest of us will continue to suffer. We need to learn the people are the real strength.
Life can be both meaningful and at the same time infinitely meaningless.
"How?" You might ask.
Why, it's to the pursuit of life itself that we must look.
We must ask ourselves these, and thousands more questions, constantly and with great enthusiasm.
For if we go on without our moral compass to guide us with compassion, empathy, and love; then what are we going on for? Our lives become meaningless, and feel wasted.
So I say that we must pursue life vibrantly and with a drive that shakes the foundations of those before us. We must pursue life with a passion that reverberates through generations to come. We must pursue a life worth living ourselves.
Which, and to what degree do we seek life? What pursuits do we hold closest to our secret heart? Are they honest and good, or vile and corrupt? What passion drives us to great heights, or to great despair?
