Consumer does not buy movie rights, they just view and pay service charge for the broadcast. Service charge in tatkal by govt enables emergency bookings

@YellapuG @RGVzoomin Definitely kadu andi, pannu is tax which your paying to local municipalities to run that service for you. But the price you pay for the service they are providing you is above market value then it’s exploitation.

@ganerajesh @RGVzoomin @NameisNani Yes it’s a service, but the cost of operating must be reviewed annually. But government does that only once a year so only RTC is in losses always in Andhra. It’s gets adjusted based on inflation rate.

If they think releasing movie in theatre is a valid option based on current costs they have other options like own platforms.

@RGVzoomin @perni_nani Movie theatres are exploiting public in every expect. The tickets prices should be regulated, government to protect people from such exploitation. Cost of making must be revealed and provide evidence to prove they have tried to optimise costs before asking for such prices raises.

@RGVzoomin @perni_nani Please don’t make theatre experience a luxury service. It’s arena to represent art form and should affordable for common man. Only then industry will thrive else piracy will succeed. Current theatres costs are one major factor piracy. Comparison to star hotels is incorrect.

It’s government right to protect people against exploitation. If you think movie costs are raising and can’t work on the current tickets costs suggested by government they should work on their own cost optimisation like all other business models. Great move APGovt
