Love how unalaq negates the opinion of traditional bending being inferior to pro bending.

Trailer for queer tennis romance ‘FORTY LOVE’ by Pierre-Ange Carlotti

The film follows a young tennis player (Paul Kircher) whose life is turned upside down by the arrival of a new rival (Romeo Beckham), forcing him to confront another challenge: love.

@calebsmxlti Not you a mako defender

[Kuruk’s connoisseur @kurukstrade]

“Mako was at a disadvantage when him and bolin fought unalaq in the spirit world”

Meanwhile this was mako outside of the spirit world

[Kuruk’s connoisseur @kurukstrade]

@calebsmxlti And the fact these fuckers get hits for the most dumbest takes is what irks me….

[Kuruk’s connoisseur @kurukstrade]

He’s a late bloomer is all yea

[Kuruk’s connoisseur @kurukstrade]

Let me barge into the avatar Kuruk writing room cuz I’m seeing his water bending isn’t gonna be good in the new show coming…. I mean he’s 14 but still ntm on my goat??

[Kuruk’s connoisseur @kurukstrade]

@blackgordongeck @TropahPalm LMAOOOO the sped up version

[Kuruk’s connoisseur @kurukstrade]

And Aang was not in his prime lmao. He was a couple years away from dying.

[Kuruk’s connoisseur @kurukstrade]

There’s zero proof in the lore that Amon was a more powerful blood bender than his father. His father controlled an entire room with his eyes… Amon needed to lock in (albeit he was worn down from a literal point blank lightning strike from mako) and Korra was still able to break free…

This is why I hated their addition of blood bending without the full moon… it’s way too broken without the avatar state.

[Biggie @DamnitBiggie]

There’s a water bender in the first season of Korra who blood bent a room full of 40 people unconscious while he was handcuffed. Among those people where Avatar Aang, in his physical prime.
It took Aang going into the Avatar State just to not get his neck snapped.

Now this man’s son, is an even more powerful blood bender, and he is Korra’s first villain.

[Kuruk’s connoisseur @kurukstrade]

To NEED the avatar state is to show how powerful said blood bender was. Mind you yakone was already slightly injured from the cart crash. Yakone himself was SWEATING STRAINING to blood bend Aang in base… to say Aang wasn’t resisting and giving yakone a challenge would be silly.
