@BNightengale The only tournament I could find that stipulates two teams will not face each other until the finals, even though the original draw shows US VS Japan semi. Tournament loses credibility on that.

@Mike_Ferrin can you explain how a “major tournament” sets a clause in the draw that two teams cannot play each other until the final? I cannot think of another tournament that does this. It’s a joke.

@SNJeffBlair The WBC is set up for a US Japan final. These teams should be playing a semi final except the Canada US game moved up a day to accommodate this. Can’t think of another “major event” doing this. the US doesn’t win their pool and still get the perks that Canada should have.

It’s like saying a player who hits 20 home runs in 600 at bats has more power than a player who hits 10 in 100 AB’s
How about percentage of scoops made based on total attempts.
