@paul_dunphy My SIL is a pilot with Air Canada & I asked her why the new warning. She told me the story of a customer trying to retrieve their phone by moving the seat back & forth. Thus catching on fire. I do wish they would explain the rationale behind some warnings to enforce why.

@Mikeggibbs Agreed but we also have to make sure people are still trained properly when things fail. As my pilot brother says lots of plane accidents are from CFA (can’t fly airplane).

@MeidasTouch I am glad as a Canadian I regularly listen to Dr. Janice Stein so none of this surprises me. She talked about this as soon as he got elected the second time.
