அம்மாபேட்டை தீபாம்பாள்புரம் வள்ளியம்மைநாதர் கோயில் புதுப்பிக்கும் பணிக்கான ஒப்பந்ததாரரிடம் லஞ்சம் பெற்றதாக கிடைத்த புகாரின் அடிப்படையில் நடவடிக்கை. இவர் கடந்த 2011-ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் இந்து சமய மற்றும் அறநிலைய அறநிலையத் துறையில் (HR&CE) உதவி ஆணையராகப் பணியில் சேர்ந்தார். கடந்த 2024 பிப்ரவரி மாதம் வெளியான இந்து சமய அறநிலையத்துறை உத்தரவின்படி, உதவி ஆணையராக இருந்த இவர் துணை ஆணையராகப் பதவி உயர்வு பெற்றார். பின்னர் இணை ஆணையராகவும் பதவி உயர்வு பெற்றார்.
திருவண்ணாமலை மாவட்டக் கோயில்களின் உதவி ஆணையராகவும், சென்னை பார்த்தசாரதிசுவாமி கோயிலின் துணை ஆணையராகவும்/செயல் அலுவலராகவும் ஜோதி லட்சுமி பணியாற்றியுள்ளளார். திருவொற்றியூர் அருள்மிகு தியாகராஜசுவாமி கோவில் மற்றும் தஞ்சாவூர், திருவண்ணாமலை போன்ற பல முக்கிய கோயில்கள் மற்றும் பகுதிகளில் அதிகாரியாகப் பணியாற்றியுள்ளார் தமிழகத்தின் பல்வேறு முக்கிய திருக்கோயில்களில் உதவி ஆணையராகவும் (Assistant Commissioner), துணை மற்றும் இணை ஆணையராகவும் (Joint Commissioner) பணியாற்றியுள்ளார். கடந்த 2016 ஆம் ஆண்டு பண மதிப்பிழப்பு அறிவிக்கப்பட்ட நேரத்தில் 10 லட்சம் வரை கோயில் பணத்தை மாற்றாமல் வீணடித்ததாக இவர் மீது புகார் உள்ளது. அதேபோல பக்தர் ஒருவர் காணிக்கையாக கொடுத்த கோயில் நகையை அபகரித்தாகவும் குற்றச்சாட்டு உள்ளது. அதேபோல சொர்க்கவாசல் திறப்பு தரிசன டிக்கெட் பணம் ரூ.4 லட்சம் வரை ஏமாற்றியதாகவும் இவர் மீது குற்றச்சாட்டு இருந்தது. இன்னும் பல குற்றச்சாட்டுகள் அவர் மீது இருந்தும் 17 பி பிரிவின் கீழ் நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கப்பட்டன. ஆனாலும் இவருக்கு தொடர்ந்து பதவி உயர்வு வழங்கப்பட்டது என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

In Hyderabad, a school principal’s close friend, Krishna, rushed to his doorstep one day in panic and fell at his feet. His daughter had eloped and married a Muslim boy, choosing to live with his family.

Tearfully, he begged the principal, “Master Ji, please do something. Save us from this destruction.”
The principal took a known Muslim acquaintance and went to the boy's house to speak with the girl.

He was shocked to see her fully dressed in Muslim attire. “Why did you do this, beta? Your parents are heartbroken,” he asked.
The girl calmly replied that she had been in love with the boy for a year.

During that time, he taught her Islamic verses, explained the Quran, and showed her Allah’s miracles. His mother taught her how to pray namaz, follow Islamic customs in food and daily life, and live with sacrifice for each other.

She continued, “In my 23 years, my parents never taught me the Vedas, Puranas, Gita, Ramayana, or Mahabharata. They never took me to the temple regularly or showed me how to pray. Papa was always busy earning money.

I never saw him do puja. Mummy was busy with matching sarees, tailors, and makeup—for herself and me. There were constant fights at home, and things got worse when grandparents visited.

I never saw a happy family.
But here, despite limited means, I feel loved, respected, and at peace. So tell me, am I wrong?”
The principal had no answer.

He returned and simply told Krishna, “As you sow, so shall you reap.”

The daughter of a company owner fell in love with a Mu$lim boy...

She was madly in love and defied her parents' wishes.

Feeling helpless, her parents sought the advice of a friend.

The friend's family and their family subsequently went on a picnic together.

During the picnic, the friend made it clear that she was on the girl's side.

She stated that all religions are equal and that the parents should allow the marriage to take place.

Consequently, the girl began to view this friend as her pillar of support.

Meanwhile, the boy's calls continued to come in intermittently.

The friend took the girl aside, handed her a book translated into Marathi, and said, "You are about to marry a Mu$lim boy, so you ought to be familiar with his culture."

The girl began reading the book at 11:30 PM, and within just a few minutes, she was knocking on her friend's bedroom door.

Her eyes were filled with tears. She said, "This is terrifying; I will not marry him."

The friend, however, did not alter her stance. She reasoned with her, "Even if the religion is such, is your love true?

If so, let's do this: ask him to embrace the Hindu faith, and we will arrange your marriage. I will convince your father."

The girl liked this idea and immediately called the boy to convey all of this to him.

To this, the boy retorted, "What makes you think I would change my religion for the sake of a 'two-percent prostitute' like you?"

His words seared into the girl's ears as if molten lead had been poured into them.

She realized—with crushing clarity—her true worth in the eyes of the very boy she loved more than life itself, and for whom she had defied her own parents.

She then flatly refused to go ahead with the marriage.
