@TravisDHolmes The system is broken. Healthcare as a commodity has failed. The US currently provides less effective services for more money than other first world countries. When the emphasis is cost savings and profits rather than quality care the patients lose. We need Universal Healthcare
@AdamGrosbard Standard therapy for recurrent DVT/PTE is indefinite anticoagulation. And blood thinners are dangerous in football. What have the Rams/AJs docs done to get him back and to prevent future recurrences. I guarantee whatever it is, no athlete has been treated this way before.
@LARamsSuperFan1 @bgrisakTST That’s my point. Standard therapy for 1rst clot is 3-6 months. 2cd clot is lifetime therapy. I wish him nothing but health and success. I just hope he is not taking excessive risk.
@LARamsSuperFan1 @bgrisakTST I agree with that. Just wonder how they are doing it. Whatever he is doing is not typical care. If he was a college or high school player his career would be over. Full stop. As healthcare provider I guess I am interested in how they are doing it and how he’s back so fast.
...and we've officially made it to game week!
Rams will start preparing for the Houston Texans. Should be a good Week 1 test. Nick Caley returning to Los Angeles as the Texans' OC.
How does Alaric Jackson handle Will Anderson? Can Rams secondary slow down Nico Collins?
