Will we, as Kashrus agencies responsible for our mashgichim, ensure that mashgichim are paid properly and receive at least basic benefits such as PTO so they can afford to take a sick day or take their child to the doctor without losing a day's pay?

@cRcKosher The main issue is wages. If proprietors won't pay livable wages, you won't find mashgichim. Minimum wage in our are is $14.25 and will be $15 in 2023. Also, many proprietors only accept part time mashgichim to avoid legal responsibilities that come along with full time employees.

There is a mashgiach visiting over Shabbos and hashgacha temidis resumes motzai shabbos. This arrangement is actually found at other locations under national and nationally recognized hashgachos.

Additionally, since all food is prepared to order, KVH ensures that orders from Friday are not prepared until hashgacha temidis resumes motzai shabbos.
