This might be the best sequence of Sixers basketball I've seen in recent memory. Euphoric.
Whatever you're doing, stop for a minute to watch this. Trust me. 🔥👇
"DeVonta Smith is the No. 1 receiver on that football team... and they need to treat him as such"
Eagles legend Donovan McNabb expects a MAJOR step forward for the WR with A.J. Brown's likely departure

Going to build off of some of @Nate_Tice's points here about how the Eagles' new pass-catchers can be effectively deployed in this new offense, even if Jalen Hurts hasn't been a voluminous over-the-middle thrower.
I've seen this concern regarding Lemon and Stowers's outlook, but I'm not too worried about this specifically because of what Mannion, Hurts, and the pass-catchers can and will do on out cuts.
(thread incoming)
The Mannion, Lemon, and Stowers additions to the Eagles have me fascinated about what’s going to unfold this year (and beyond) with the Eagles.
And while at first I was squinting to see how this all fits with Jalen Hurts, I’m starting to see cleaner fits with Lemon & Stowers’ playstyles and what Mannion can bring to the offense.
Kind of like a square peg, rectangle hole.
Joel Embiid:
"I've dealt with a lot of stuff over my career. I don't complain, I just want to give as much as I can...I know a lot of people might have takes of that I might be lazy or whatever, but every single time I'm on the floor I want to play as hard as possible. I just want to play basketball whether I'm good physically or mentally. I just want to enjoy this moment, just being part of a basketball team that's trying to accomplish something. I didn't want to go home and think about it all summer of what could have been if I was healthy going into the playoffs"
.@JoelEmbiid’s story should be that he didn’t start playing basketball until high school & became one of the best & most skilled players of all time.
But your tweet was spot on. If people truly knew what Joel has played through, they would appreciate him even more.
