I’m surprised nobody knows this but, US immigration is one of the easiest in the world if you can prove competence or capital
3 most common ways
- O1 — You have to prove that you’re extra ordinary in what you do. Best suited for startup founders
- E2 — Invest upto $100k which leads to 5 years of renewable residency
- E5 — Show capital of ~$800k and it leads to green card in 5 years
@filterchin@oprydai I wish there was one resource. The easiest way imo is to give a lawyer $200, walk them through your life and ask them what visa would work best for you
Honestly, this just the tip of iceberg, there’s a lot more to this
For example, there’s a visa called eb5 which doesn’t require any capital or competence. You just hire a law firm to find a job for you for which US citizens aren’t willing to work(made up job posting) and within a few years, you land in the US with a green card
There’s a path from student visa too which gets converted into 3 years work visa and then eventually to a green card
The core thesis is;
Get to the US somehow on whatever visa you can and then change your status eventually
