Burkina Faso wants students to do more than read books.
The country is introducing school farms to help children learn farming, fish farming, and tree planting while they are still in school.
The project is part of the Presidential Initiative for Quality Education for All, launched under Captain Ibrahim Traoré's education reforms.
The idea is simple:
Learn in the classroom. Learn on the farm too.
Officials say school farms will help students gain practical skills, understand agriculture better, and break the old belief that farming is a job to look down on.
Three types of school farms are planned:
Agricultural farms
Fish farms
Mixed farms
Supporters say every nation needs doctors, engineers, and teachers...
But it also needs people who can grow food.
The big question:
Should every school in Africa have a farm for students to learn practical skills?
Ibrahim Traore is taking Africans to the place where our forefathers wanted us to be at.
This is a still photo of how South African March and March Afrophobic thugs used Stone as a weapon to murder Malawian street vendor Brian Mwanza, right in the middle of South Africa's Indian Ocean costal city of Durban, in the province of Kwazulu Natal.
Brain's only crime was being an African selling Fruits in the street to support his family in Malawi, when this young man met this dreadful end.
South Africans watched with unimaginable indifference to the sanctity of life, as this young man's brains was smashed to pieces and he lost consciousness, without anyone rendering assistance to him.
🚨 🇷🇺 Medvedev just said what millions across Africa and the Global South have known for generations.
Colonialism must be recognized as a crime against humanity.
Western elites still operate with the same old mindset of racial and national superiority. They dress it up as democracy, human rights, and partnerships while draining resources, installing puppets, and trapping nations in debt.
Russia is right on this. The world needs real international equality and the total end of neo-colonial practices. No more pretty words hiding the same old theft and control.
Africa has paid the highest price. It is time to name the crime, reject the double standards, and finish what our ancestors started.
Colonialism is a crime.
The fight for true sovereignty continues.
Europeans expected to find a 'primitive' Africa. Instead they found a city with organized streets, massive defensive walls, and metalwork so advanced their own scientists couldn't explain it. Then they burned it down.
