@bosstetter_edu @meaganhparrish @TJParrish28@hargrove_edu@jroberts07_@ecbatch@jenwswartz@ruthmichelebyrd A very real fear indeed. My glass-half-full-stay-out-here-in-safe-naivety hope is likely a bit too optimistic. The “told you so” over the “I wish it wasn’t so” stinks to see. So what would Gladwell say about the dismissive tendencies, I wonder?

Getting to know the real data on someone: their thinking processes, strongest influences, what they see as options compared to what we may see. It’s someone’s thinking that determines actions and results. That’s the real data.
Senior pic, 1986. My careers teacher berated me for finishing workbook pages that he hadn’t assigned yet. He told me I wouldn’t make it in the workplace if I didn’t follow instructions. He was absolutely correct, and I am thankful for his indispensable guidance.
