@KofiThesaurus@GHOneTV You have missed the argument, i don't think you read what i wrote to understand. You only read to argue. I will rest my case here with you. Have a blessed day ๐๐พ.
@KofiThesaurus@GHOneTV Or going to buy bread and the bread seller telling you the price is not based on the increase of flour prices alone but the increase of flour price + other expensive things that i will be buying?
@KofiThesaurus@GHOneTV Imagine a commercial driver telling you that the increment of their fair is fuel increase + spare parts increase + other personal expensive things they buy.
Will that sound fair to you?
@nasirakyawahmed@dedostedprosper@GHOneTV The price of their goods should therefore increase by that percentage and not over 100% as they are selling their produce now.
@nasirakyawahmed@dedostedprosper@GHOneTV The Math still doesn't add up for how much they r charging for produce now. The Obvious change is d price of transportation. Labour is still constant. The market women share the cost of the truck that brings their goods. Their cost price will increase by a max 10% and 3.3% min.
@dedostedprosper@GHOneTV Averagely, the increase in transportation will result in a 3.3% - 10% increase in the initial price these market women had to pay because they rely on suppliers with trucks to provide these goods in large quantities. About 15 to 30 women share the cost.
@ChrisEdjah@GHOneTV Let's just assume that each person is paying an additional 10% (which is greater than what I just estimated), in which case a market woman who previously paid GHS 200 for transportation will now be required to pay GHS 220. How does that justify what they are doing?
@ChrisEdjah@GHOneTV The cost of fuel still doesn't justify the market women's massive pricing increases.
My reasons: The majority of these market women rely on suppliers with trucks to provide these goods in large quantities. About 15 to 30 market ladies split the cost of transportation.....
@ChrisEdjah@GHOneTV In other words, even if fuel prices rise by 100%, the new price difference will be shared by 15 to 30 people. Consequently, the cost of transportation would increase by 3.3% to 6.6% for each person.
@GHOneTV We can all agree that the economy is struggling as a result of blatant management (politics not intended).
But come on, we don't have to abuse ourselves like way.

@GHOneTV However, you wouldn't go to the villages, pay the farmers less than they are due, put big profit margins on your sales, and then place the blame on the price of fuel or the dollar. That is wickedness.
@GHOneTV If they were paying these poor village farmers a good price for their produce we could have at least said that these market women are supporting the farmers
