Don't play with our intelligence, guy.
If, today, ANY woman were campaigning to be Vice President of Ghana, she will (be expected to) play the "mother" and/or "woman" card. Why?
Because we all agree that it is important for women to be seen rising and being represented at the highest levels of decision-making.
And, to her credit, Maa Jane did it very well.
Telling us now, when she is the second most powerful PERSON (and the most powerful WOMAN) in the country is not only an insult to our collective intellect, but also an amateurish red herring argument.
Let me remind you, gentleman: the topic on board is RAPE.
Rape of 19 girls.
One definition of rape is "non-consensual sexual penetration—including vaginal, anal, or oral penetration—committed against a person by force, threat, coercion, or when the person is incapable of giving consent."
Before you answer this tweet, imagine the above definition were done to your teenage sister.
If Ghanaians cannot expect the most powerful WOMAN in the country to embody the charge against 19 girls who say they have experienced this torture, who else should we expect to embody it?
A man?
I put it to you that no man in government can humanize such a campaign better than the most powerful WOMAN (and MOTHER) in the country.
Remember: we did not elect NDC into power to only follow laws; we elected them to BE SEEN acting for the poor and vulnerable in the same way they went to those same powerless folks for votes — with urgency, alacrity and bombele.

If you are interested in protecting children against sexual abuse, make it expensive for the wrongdoers to continue to live after they've done this wrong.
Sue them for battery.
Make their names known.
Dedicate time and resources to ensuring that if they get a job, their co-workers and employers are aware.
I am saying, let us come together and set up an entity that is committed more intentionally to making it expensive to be a sexual criminal in Ghana.
The only way we can get out of this mess.
I want to personally sponsor 20 young farmers who want to do dry season Tomato farming this year.
1. Your land should be cleared and ready by September.
2. Your minimum land size should be 2 acres and maximum 20 acres.
3. The support will be input based. Tractor services, fertilizer, seeds, agricultural extension services, weeds and pests control, irrigation systems and ready market for the tomatoes.
This is a personal pilot project and hopefully we can collectively cultivate over 400 acres of tomatoes this year during the dry season. Together let’s make this work. #idey4u
A second cycle school, Dabokpa Technical Inst. in the Northern Region is doing something amazing. Building tractors, tricycles, incubators, etc. I believe they require some serious collaboration with industry. Let's encourage them. Repost this till they get the needed attention.
