Peller is not the problem IMO.

The real issue is a broken system designed to neglect and ignore intellect. A system that has consistently undermined the efforts of promising talents across academia, forcing our brightest minds to “japa” or settle for less.

BBN pays 100M+ to winners, a reality show, fine. But most schools can’t even award their best graduating students ₦100k. The state can’t guarantee them jobs. In my time, our best graduating student, an exceptionally brilliant guy destined for greatness now works as a successful freelancer, digital analyst and YouTuber. He’s doing really well, but that mind was built for more. Top-tier virologist material, serving the nation. We lost that potential and so many others.

Youth unemployment is at a high, quite alarming for nation with immense potential and one of the youngest population average on the planet.

We churn out graduates yearly but fail to harness them. It’s time to fix the system and not bash the symptoms.

He is prioritising quick, technically complete defenders who are comfortable in possession and capable of consistently breaking the opposition’s lines with their passing.

I have a feeling that Emegha could edge out Delap as João Pedro's backup in our squad. Emegha offers better box movement and box presence, which is needed when you are chasing a game.

Jackson, for me, isn't an impact second-half sub either. His box presence is worse than Delap’s.

I see Emegha as Alonso's Schick at Leverkusen, tall, powerful striker who can connect with crosses and make his presence felt in the box. Schick was so important for Alonso in that aspect. I'm not sure Delap and Jackson offer that.

For Jackson, his role should be starting when João Pedro isn't available or starting on the LHS, attacking like a second striker.

If my permutation is right, Delap could be the one to lose. I don't see much he can offer us when we are chasing a game against a low block. That could count against him.

@Blue_Footy @JacobsBen Colwill was out for the entire season, this guy, his back up, played 90 mins 3 times in the league all season.

He’s never fit, and he’s not good enough when he plays, tiptoes around like a ballerina.

If Thomas Partey is ever proven guilty, we’ll hold him fully accountable and drag him as far as he deserves. But until then, nobody gets to preach to me about it.
What hurts the most is watching Black men bend over backwards to prove a point just to fit in, only to realize they’re still viewed the exact same way,through the same lens as everyone else with this skin. Spence, you’re no different, and you never will be. To them, you’ll always be the foreigner they once colonized. Turning your back on a brother who hasn’t even been convicted yet is shameful and despicable.
The saddest part? Every other teammate gave him a handshake but not you even you captain because apparently that would mean you’re better than the rest of them. Thats your decision and we don’t care what you decide to do but Let me tell you something: the day anything happens to you and it doesn’t even have to be abuse or rape, it could be anything then you’ll finally understand.
