@middle_class_us First house bought at 29, just sold it and upgraded after 17 years. Lived 20 minutes out of town, now live 5. Down payment was sales equity and not a penny more. It can be done with patience and going for adequate, not perfect, for that 1st home.

@juicyrayzz Just bought a 265K home with a $1400/mo mortgage, both vehicles paid off, and if we didn't have CC debt, we'd have about $700/mo to save. Working on that debt now.

@iam_biglad1 This is the same song and dance from the late 1800s when Rockefeller, Carnegie and Morgan owned half the country. They employed 10s of thousands, not to mention Morgan using his personal wealth to save the US economy on more than one occasion.

@Owennfa In-state public university tuition is around 30K, including housing. Go get a useful degree in STEM and it does pay for itself in short order, not a BA in general liberal arts with a focus on underwater basket weaving.

@DemonFramed @Alexjonesbible A good friend of mine worked hard and built his own plumbing and electrical service before he passed. His wife was SAH. I have multiple others who work in the trades and make twice as much as I ever did in an office, and they did this all across the country.
