Before he was one of the most successful coaches in Kansas history at McPherson HS, Kurt Kinnamon scored 28.2 points per game over his high school career at St. John in 65 games (1,833 pts). That mark still stands as a KSHOF record for boys career PPG in KS. Kinnamon has led McPherson to back to back 4A state titles. It was his 8th state title and 2nd time to repeat. Kinnamon is now 617-138 as a head coach. #sportsinkansas
