A while ago, I came across a post where an experienced data analyst shared some of the ChatGPT prompts they use to speed up their workflow.
I saved a few, tried them while learning and they genuinely made things easier
So I decided to put together my favorites in one place.
Here are 30 ChatGPT prompts that can save analysts hours every week. 👇

AI. AI. AI.
Yet in many workplaces today, there are still employees who struggle with simple Excel functions to compare reports from two different departments.
The hype is real.
But so are the day-to-day business problems.
If you’re learning Data Analytics, don’t just build dashboards. Solve problems that businesses actually face.
Here are a few beginner-friendly projects that mirror real workplace scenarios:
https://t.co/rTuh9SyZvw a Reconciliation Engine that compares two datasets and flags missing, duplicate, or mismatched records.
https://t.co/dUw5OpolH6 a Data Validation Tool that checks for missing values, invalid formats, duplicate records, and business rule violations before data enters a reporting system.
3.Create an Automated Exception Report highlighting discrepancies that require human review.
4.Develop a Master Data Cleansing solution to standardize customer, supplier, or product records.
https://t.co/9FE97zZYFX a Sales vs Finance Reconciliation dashboard to identify reporting differences between departments.
https://t.co/nKttoJnN8E an Inventory Movement Tracker that flags unusual stock movements or negative inventory.
7.Create a Daily Data Quality Scorecard with KPIs such as completeness, accuracy, consistency, timeliness, and uniqueness.
These aren’t flashy AI projects.
They’re the kinds of solutions that save teams hours of manual work, improve data quality, and make businesses trust their data.
That’s how you build a portfolio that gets interviews.

In SQL, A NULL value is a non-value.
If you are talking about numeric data, a null value is not the same as zero. Zero is a definite value. It is one less than one.
If you are talking about character data, a null value is not the same as a blank space.
A blank space is also a definite value. If you are talking about Boolean data, a null value is not the same as FALSE. A false Boolean value is a definite value too.
A null value is the absence of a value.

Struggling to find clients on LinkedIn?
You're not alone. Most freelancers and consultants know they should be prospecting on LinkedIn, but they get stuck on the basics:
❌ Who exactly should I target?
❌ What problems do they actually care about?
❌ How do I position my services so they want to respond?
❌ What do I even say in my outreach messages?
Today, I want to share a prompt that solves all of this. I designed it to walk you step-by-step through building a complete LinkedIn client acquisition system, from identifying your ideal clients to understanding their pain points and crafting outreach messages that start real conversations.
What the prompt covers:
→ Profile optimization for conversions
→ Target audience identification
→ Mapping your services to client problems
→ LinkedIn search strategies (no paid tools needed)
→ A 4-message outreach sequence → Objection handling scripts
→ A 2-week content plan to attract inbound leads
→ A daily workflow checklist to stay consistent
How to use it:
1.Copy the prompt below into ChatGPT or Claude
2.When it asks for your information, paste your LinkedIn headline, About section, and (optionally) your website or portfolio
3.Follow the steps, it will guide you through everything
That's it. No guesswork. No expensive courses. Just a clear system you can implement today.
Try it and let me know how it works for you 👇
