If you are a board member or executive, pay close attention to the AI conversations and demonstrations I will be sharing over the coming days and weeks.
I single out board members and executives because they are among the groups most at risk of being left behind. Their schedules are often packed with meetings, travel, and stakeholder engagements, leaving little time to sit behind a computer and experiment with AI tools. Yet these are the very roles that stand to gain the most from AI-enabled productivity.
If you have not yet subscribed to Claude, I encourage you to start with the entry-level subscription and begin building your skills. The return on investment can be significant once you understand how to integrate AI into your daily workflow. The objective is not simply to use AI occasionally, but to make it a trusted assistant that works alongside you on your most important responsibilities.
For board members, create a folder on your laptop called "Board and Governance Work." For executives, create one called "Executive Work." Store all your important documents in these folders—board packs, minutes, reports, presentations, policies, strategy documents, and other key materials. Using Claude CoWork, connect Claude directly to these folders and instruct it to use them as its primary working environment.
As new board packs, minutes, and reports are added, Claude can help identify anomalies, missed deadlines, emerging risks, unresolved action items, and inconsistencies across documents. You can even schedule Claude to review the contents daily and provide alerts on matters requiring immediate attention.
If you have Claude installed on your phone, Dispatch allows you to assign work to Claude while you are travelling, attending meetings, or away from your desk. It can review reports, prepare presentations, draft board papers, summarize lengthy documents, and notify you when tasks are complete.
Executives can use it to prepare board reports and management presentations, while board members can use it to review governance documents and board submissions. The result is that meaningful work continues even when you are asleep, travelling, or occupied with other priorities.
For those using board management platforms such as Convene, Claude can become even more powerful when used through the Claude browser extension. By keeping the relevant applications available and providing the necessary access credentials, Claude can assist with reviewing board packs, extracting key issues, identifying risks, and preparing concise summaries for your attention. The productivity gains are remarkable.
Over the coming days, I will share short screen-recorded demonstrations showing exactly how to implement these workflows.

Good people don’t join paya panorohwa mbavha. Your involvement might be minimal zvekurova munhu mbama chete otofa. Zvekuzoti ndangomurova mbama chete or ndangomusundidzira hazvishande. The law doesn’t care about that. You can be charged with and convicted of murder together with others who would’ve landed fatal blows.
In fact ukaona panorohwa mbavha itotiza such that you can’t even be made a witness kuCourt.
The Guptas' Sun City wedding accidentally exposed their capture of South Africa. Tagwirei's $20 million wedding deliberately displayed his of Zimbabwe.
I once had lunch with Kudakwashe Tagwirei. We served briefly together on the Presidential Advisory Council(PAC). It emerged before my resignation that he had more access to President Mnangagwa than the entire PAC put together.
The leaked audio — the grandiose claim : “I am the next president” — cannot be authenticated. But authenticity is the wrong test. The right test is whether the claims map onto documented behaviour.
Consider the record: a reported 30% stake behind CBZ, Zimbabwe’s biggest bank. US$1.28 billion through Command Agriculture without open tender. US$1.6 billion paid for Kuvimba to undisclosed individuals the authorities refuse to name. Chairmanship of the land tenure programme. Co-option into the ZANU-PF Central Committee, lubricated by US$21 million in vehicles. Standing beside the President when Ramaphosa visited Precabe Farm.
Banking. Mining. Land. The party machine. Proximity to the presidency. None of it requires the tape to be real.
The keystone is CAB3, which Parliament may pass THIS WEEK. It abolishes your right to elect your own President and hands that choice to a Parliament ZANU-PF controls. A man who could never win a national vote would not need one.
South Africa’s capture was eventually exposed by a free press and the Zondo Commission. CAB3 would entrench Zimbabwe’s — writing the workaround into the constitution itself.
The electorate is the last institution standing between a businessman and a captured presidency.
This is not how we build a vibrant and compassionate society.

Econet’s first results as a delisted company were released yesterday.
The results are in ZiG, but there is a note (shown below) that includes some USD figures.
Revenue crossed $1 billion, as expected, and earnings (profit) were $229 million, a very strong number.
Hard to believe that only last year its market cap was, at one point, less than 400m, implying a forward P/E of less than 2.
A few other interesting points:
- Data volumes grew by 100%
- Voice volumes grew by 35%
- About $24.3 million was set aside to pay out shareholders who took the exit offer
- The company still has over 10,000 shareholders after delisting.
FOUND IT!
"I have heard your prayers. Where there is darkness & there seems to be no way, that's when I show up. [I do that] So you know that it's not your might nor your doing but that you may know that I AM!
I AM
I AM"
On this day in 1972 there was a tragic disaster at Kamandama Mine in Hwange when the explosion of methane gas caused the mine to collapse and trapped and killed 427 people that left several widows behind.
May their souls continue to rest in peace.
Dear Lovemore Majaivana!

Kind regards,
Dear @NetOneCellular
You sold my 111111 number to a Chinese foreign national. I have had my number for decades. Do you understand. Decades. I own the WhatsApp. I have partnered with netone numerous times. I want my number back. Travelling is NOT a crime. My OneMoney is Gone. 🤮
If parliament can't even be truthful on the submitted emails you think it will have the probity to select a president? There has to be personal & irreversible individual costs so that no one in future will ever contemplate playing with people's livelihoods!
On CAB 3
I am a representative of the people of Kadoma. I was elected to represent them, not to surrender their sovereignty.
In our community conversations, - at after church meetings, during interactions at funerals and weddings, in engagements with parents at school functions, In the streets, and even at our local gym - the message from the citizens is clear:
“Mwanangu, panyaya yeBumbiro, tambai nezvimwe; chitupa hachiwachigwi!”
For these reasons and many other, and in fidelity to the people of Kadoma and the Constitution of Zimbabwe, I CANNOT support this Bill.
