Yesterday we witnessed the change of guard in the Attorney General's office.
The outgoing AG - Hon. @KiryowaKk handed over the office to the new AG - Hon. Dr. Sam Mayanja. The handover was witnessed by @norbertmao @KafuuziJackson @MorisMuhindo and several key members of @MoJCAUG leadership.

Uganda today hosted the inaugural East African Attorneys-General Roundtable in Kampala, bringing together AGs from the whole East African region to address shared legal challenges in regional development. The event was co-hosted with the @WorldBank. #AGRTM2025 @JLOSUganda

When you travel to certain countries, you keep asking yourself:

- In their constant travels abroad, don’t our leaders see and admire certain things?
- Do they ever feel embarrassed introducing themselves as leaders of places they keep backward!
- Do they get ashamed?
- Do they ever feel guilty?
- Do their consciences bother them at all, knowing how they’ve focused on privately accumulating and exclusively making comfort for themselves!
- Do they use trains?
- Do they return to Uganda unbothered?
- Do they genuinely blame it on imperialism?

But, to avoid ‘blood pressure’, sometimes you just keep away from such questions. It is painful. Anyway, we launched our train to Namanve.
