This is my first tech/coding article.
In this article I explain the inplace parameter in Pandas and it’s application.
I just published the article: Understand inplace in Pandas.

Log 9 of my #100DaysOfCode with #Ruby
I looked at how to accept user input in Ruby.
I started working on a mini-project, which is a phonebook application.
I will be finetuning the code and adding new features as I advance.

Today is Log 8 of my #100DaysOfCode learning Ruby!
I learned about Methods in Ruby- How to define methods(with &without parameters), calling the method and also I looked at class methods.
Methods in Ruby operate just like functions in other programming languages.

Log 7 of #100DaysOfCode.
I have tackled while loop, and modifier, until the statement and its modifier and for loop, as well as looked at the break, redo, retry and next statements.
My next assignment is to delve deeper into methods and blocks in Ruby. #rubydeveloper

Log 6 of 100 days of code.✅
Wondering why I use Log instead of day 6?
In my case, using days to track my progress makes me put undue pressure on myself.
Remember that resting is part of your coding streak.
Rest is essential to avoid burnout.

DAY 3,4 and 5 !!!
I got back from my 9-5 about 2 hours ago.
I am tired however I decided to complete my learning goals for today.
I have gone deeper into the different variables that exist and saw something new “pseudo variables”.
I’ve also looked at operators.
#100DaysOfCode
Update on days 3,4 and 5 of 100 days of code learning Ruby.
It’s a lot like Python so tbh I’m not having any real challenges just yet 😉.
#100DaysOfCode#rubydeveloper
Also, I went over a general overview of Ruby arrays, hashes and ranges.
Hashes are basically like dictionaries in Python.
I’ll be looking at IF ELSE statements and loops tomorrow.

DAY 1
I went through the Ruby syntax.
I leaned commenting in Ruby, End & Begin statements,Reserved words and Identifiers
I had a challenge understanding “Here document”.
I was fine after a google search.
Ruby is a lot like Python making it easier for me to learn.
#100DaysOfCode
I am taking on Ruby under #100daysofcodechallenge starting 4th January.
I am learning Ruby for backend development.
This will be addition to my knowledge in Data Science and Machine learning.
This thread will be updated when I start.

Hi everyone, my name is Mesrenyame and I'm a huge fan of building and contributing to open source projects, initiatives and communities.
In light of continually contributing to open source, I'm starting an initiative called "Everything Open Source" on Twitter Spaces.
I received my laptop from @becauseshecan_ yesterday! It feels good to say ‘My laptop’ because this is the first time I’ve had a laptop that wasn’t passed down to me by older siblings.
Because She Can launched the December for Women who code 2021 project to raise funds for underprivileged women in Tech. We have supported 5 women with laptops to aid them in their Tech journey. We are bridging the gender digital gap. One laptop at a time!
You’re welcome Samira! 🎉 We were inspired but all you’ve set out to do. We are certain that this new laptop will open doors for you in your Tech journey.

My colleagues at @DVCorg have released not just a new DVC feature, but have introduced a whole other level of thinking about experiment tracking and reproducibility in machine learning. Check out their blog post👇https://t.co/kiOyzKBDhR
With your help we have received $2291 in donations 😱🤯 !! We are so grateful to you for joining our mission to narrow the digital gender divide! Visit our website https://t.co/TgeIerMuz9 if you're touched to change the life of a woman in Tech. Momo: 050 136 7305 -Kweyakie Blebo
