Our deepest condolences go out to the family of Jim Uhrig, who passed away on Monday.
As the Tuffy Knight Award recipient in 2011 for his continued outstanding effort towards Laurier Athletics, Jim’s contributions to the success of our curling program won't be forgotten.💜💛
Since there appears to be some misinformation going around regarding the KW Fall a Classic, we want to clear the air:
At this time, we are still planning on hosting our event as scheduled. We have NOT cancelled the event.
If you have questions/concerns, please email us.

Our deepest condolences to Janet & family. Hugh was always a wonderful addition to our event every year, and we have many fond memories of his on ice and off ice personality. He will be truly missed by all.
It is with incredible sadness that we have learned of the passing of former TCA President Hugh Murphy. Hugh will be dearly missed by the Toronto curling community.
Our tribute to Hugh is posted on our website: https://t.co/d4RW1IgmBY
Sad to announce The Trillium Curling Camp 2020 in Waterloo in August has been cancelled after 27 summers. CurlON is already planning for 2021. The dates will be August 8-13 and August 15-20. All 2020 refunds will be made in the next few days. We will be back better than ever!
Late note to all this: the prize purse & our website will be updated this weekend. Unfortunately math is hard, and I locked myself out of Curling Zone - otherwise it’d be done already 🤷🏻♀️😂
We’re open for registration as of tomorrow! As a heads up, our entry fees have increased ($675 for ladies teams; $625 for men’s), and we will also be moving weekends. The event will be September 17-20, 2020*
* Pending the ongoing situation with #COVID19 of course.
Dear members of the Canadian curling community,
Our main concern is the safety and well-being of the entire curling community. As a result, we are having to make difficult decisions that are significantly affecting what we do and how we offer our services and programs. 1/4
