सही उत्तर: वह विकल्प जिसमें "SMILE" का केवल बायाँ और दायाँ हिस्सा उल्टा दिखाई दे, लेकिन ऊपर-नीचे की दिशा वही रहे।

ऐसा क्यों?

जब हम किसी वस्तु को दर्पण में देखते हैं, तो दर्पण ऊपर-नीचे नहीं बदलता, बल्कि बाएँ और दाएँ दिशा उलट जाती है। इसलिए शब्द के अक्षर उल्टे दिखाई देते हैं, लेकिन वे उल्टे (upside down) नहीं होते।

यही कारण है कि कई लोग सोचते हैं कि दर्पण चीज़ों को "उल्टा" कर देता है, जबकि वास्तव में वह Left-Right Reversal दिखाता है।

🧠 रोचक तथ्य: दर्पण वास्तव में बायाँ-दायाँ भी नहीं बदलता। वह केवल आगे-पीछे (Front-Back) दिशा को उलटता है। हमारा मस्तिष्क इसे बाएँ-दाएँ उल्टा होने के रूप में समझता है, इसलिए हमें ऐसा लगता है।

पहली नज़र में ऊपर वाला ब्लॉक गहरा (Dark Gray) और नीचे वाला हल्का (Light Gray) दिखाई देता है।

लेकिन हैरानी की बात यह है कि दोनों ब्लॉक बिल्कुल एक ही रंग के हैं! 🤯

अगर विश्वास नहीं होता, तो दोनों ब्लॉकों के बीच वाली लाइन को अपनी उंगली से ढककर देखिए।

ऐसा क्यों होता है?

👉 हमारा दिमाग किसी रंग को अकेले नहीं देखता, बल्कि उसके आसपास की रोशनी, छाया और बैकग्राउंड से तुलना करके उसका रंग तय करता है। इसे Color Contrast Illusion या Simultaneous Contrast Illusion कहा जाता है।

ऊपर वाले ब्लॉक के पीछे हल्का (नीला) बैकग्राउंड है, इसलिए वह हमें गहरा दिखाई देता है।

नीचे वाले ब्लॉक के पीछे गहरा (हरा) बैकग्राउंड है, इसलिए वही रंग हमें हल्का लगता है।

यानी आँखें वही देखती हैं जो दिमाग उन्हें समझाता है।
