It’s been a journey!
I visited our injured National Guardsmen in the hospital today. My heart breaks for them, their families, and those impacted by the horrific attack in our Nation’s capital.
Every one of our National Guardsmen made a courageous decision to serve their community and their nation. They serve selflessly to safeguard our way of life.
Please keep our Guardsmen in your prayers.
🚨 JUST IN: West Virginia National Guard member Sarah Beckstrom dies after being shot by an Afghan national in DC, meaning CAPITAL PUNISHMENT will be sought against as Rahmanullah Lakanwal
Pray for the family - and demand IMMEDIATE JUSTICE.
The execution should be public. 😡

After graduating pharmacy school, I returned to Nigeria from Hungary. Twelve months later, I relocated to the United States as a student.
The goal was to get licensed. At the time, I didn’t know anyone who had navigated this same path, but I was determined to see the journey through.
Six months after my arrival, COVID hit, and everything turned bleak. At this point, I felt I should have stayed back in Europe, after all, I wasn’t without options.
Fast forward a few years:
I earned my master’s degree with a published thesis while simultaneously preparing for my licensure exams.
Today, I hold three Pharmacy licenses:
✅ 2018: Hungarian Licensed Pharmacist – eligible to practice across the EU
✅ 2019: Nigerian Licensed Pharmacist
✅ 2023: United States Licensed Pharmacist
Three months ago, I transitioned from community pharmacy practice into a clinical role , turning down a huge 1year retention bonus and a permanent PIC position with incentives.
A year ago, I joined the U.S. Army. This experience completely changed my life and reshaped my perspective about life.
My post was mainly to motivate Pharmacy students and Pharmacists.
I see some of your tweets; I read your concerns and worries. Yes, the process can be long and exhausting for most pharmacy licensure process. It definitely requires a lot of financial muscle and mental fortitude but it’s still possible to see it through depending on how you prioritize, plan and execute. Just start somewhere.
Let’s connect.
- Those of you planning to get licensed, what country are you looking at?
- If you already left and have started preparing, what has been the hardest part so far?
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out.
What country in Europe are you referring to? Every country in EU has their requirements based on if you are an EU trained or non- EU trained, EU citizen vs non EU citizen. The non- english speaking european countries will require a certain level of language proficiency.
If you’re looking at an English speaking country, I’ll recommend Republic of Ireland based on what I’ve heard.
@OnyemaSam1 Yes, a B.Pharm can get licensed in the U.S.A as long as your degree program was 5years. On the flip side the downside is that attaining management and leadership roles e.g Director of Pharmacy , having a Pharm D is a pre- requisite.
