This #PrideMonth, we celebrate the remarkable contributions of 2SLGBTQ+ communities and reaffirm our commitment to inclusive, respectful, and equitable care where everyone feels safe, seen, and supported.
I am in a state of dissociative awe by how incredibly stupid, dangerous, and idiotic this all is. Just the inevitable result of a generation of unserious leadership and Conservative and Canadian dysfunction. https://t.co/neFs58aMsI
During Mental Health Awareness Week, we highlight the importance of mental health as an essential part of overall health. By raising awareness and breaking down stigma, we can help create space for open, and honest conversations about mental well-being.

“We all support people who want to stop/change their drug use. But those of us who work in the field understand that is often a really long process & requires a lot of support..safe consumption sites..make sure people can stay alive during that process.” https://t.co/MeLGFPXIBw

“Strong opinion is a hallmark of independent journalism and sometimes along the way that leads to reader disappointment and offence.”
We should get an apology for the AI video - actually offensive.
Take your marbles home, take a breath and sit down, Mr Ambassador.
There had to be 300+ professionals there, many of them non-Indigenous allies from hospitals, health & community organizations. An encouraging sign of the willingness for change. When we improve health justice & outcomes for Indigenous Peoples we build a better health system.
We are honoured to join Paul Francis at the 2026 Reconcili-Action Conference hosted by Caldwell First Nation. As we reflect on the insights from today, we contemplate the opportunities & work ahead to work with hospitals to grow in meaningful allyship with Indigenous communities.
Today marks exactly four years since Putin started his three-day push to take Kyiv. And that says a great deal about our resistance, about how Ukraine has fought all this time. Behind those words stand millions of our people, immense courage, incredibly hard work, endurance, and the long path Ukraine has been pursuing since February 24.
Looking back at the beginning of the invasion and reflecting on today, we have every right to say: we have defended our independence, we have not lost our statehood; Putin has not achieved his goals. He has not broken Ukrainians; he has not won this war. We have preserved Ukraine, and we will do everything to secure peace and justice. Glory to Ukraine!
Today, we have achieved a significant result – two thousand Ukrainian children have been brought home from under Russia’s control through the @BringKidsBackUA initiative.
Each of these returns was made possible thanks to the daily efforts of our people, civil society organizations, and international partners. We are grateful to everyone who has contributed to this fight for the future of our children, our country, and the entire free world.
The road ahead remains long and difficult. Thousands of Ukrainian children are still held captive by Russia, becoming victims of its crimes every day. But we will not stop until every Ukrainian child is back home.
#BringKidsBack

Thank you @ONtrainandstudy for investing in homegrown research through the Ontario Research Fund, which will help strengthen our economy while improving lives.
Hospitals will do all they can to serve their communities and safeguard access to care. In the face of economic and demographic headwinds we face tough choices to meet rising demands and continue delivering high-quality care. Careful thinking and predictable funding are vital.

Members of the United States Senate and the House of Representatives,
I am a citizen of Greenland 🇬🇱
You must understand the gravity of the situation.
The people of Greenland are not for sale. The citizens of Greenland are not slaves. Slavery was abolished in 1865, and the idea that a people or their land can be acquired has no place in the modern world, under international law, or within democratic societies.
At this moment, the citizens of Greenland—from children to the elderly—are feeling unsafe and deeply unsettled by the current situation. No population should be made to feel fear or insecurity because of statements made by those in positions of power.
There are no Russian or Chinese naval forces operating in Greenlandic waters. Claims suggesting otherwise are false and misleading.
The United States already has a strong and long-standing defense agreement with the Kingdom of Denmark. This agreement has provided the United States with full military access to Greenland in support of American and allied security.
You, as members of Congress, have a responsibility to act. You must uphold international law, respect the sovereignty of allies, and ensure that no attempt is made to take control of Greenland🇬🇱
You took an oath to the Constitution, not to President Trump.
The world is watching. The people of Greenland are watching. Action is required now.
Sincerely,
To believe this is about drug smuggling, you have to ignore Trump’s pardon of the former Honduran president for drug smuggling.
To believe it’s about Maduro’s democratic legitimacy, you have to believe Trump cares even slightly about democratic legitimacy.

Great to attend @TorontoRBOT’s event today about the importance of adult vaccination in safeguarding our health and driving productivity. One key insight: the seasonal flu costs the economy $2.5B each year. A strong reminder of why preventative care matters.
