I’m learning to care less about how fast I’m progressing and more about whether I’m actually becoming better.
Trading has made me realize how easy it is to obsess over results.
The money.
The wins.
The account size.
The next milestone.
But none of that matters if the person handling it hasn’t grown.
I’d rather build the discipline, patience and decision-making that can carry me for years.
The result is the by-product.
The process is the work.
One thing you need to stop putting pressure on yourself about is TIME.
Someone made their first $100k at 21.
Someone else made theirs at 30.
Someone became profitable after 1 year of trading.
Another person needed 5 years before everything finally clicked.
Different people.
Different circumstances.
Different timelines.
You’ll destroy your confidence if you constantly use someone else’s chapter to measure where you should be in life.
Some people start with money.
Some start with connections.
Some start with knowledge.
Some literally start with nothing but hope.
So of course the journey won’t look the same.
The important thing is that your own life is moving forward.
Learn.
Improve.
Stay consistent.
Give yourself enough time to become the person capable of getting where you want to go.
You’re not late.
You’re on your own timeline.
A lot of you have been asking how I built my trading dashboard.
Here is the process:
1. Install Notion
Create your Notion account and set up a workspace.
2. Create a trading journal database
Record every trade: pair, setup, bias, liquidity, entry, SL, TP, risk, RR, result, mistakes, and lessons.
3. Connect Notion to Grok (available in Grok settings under Connected Apps).
Give Grok access to your Notion workspace and trading journal.
4. Let Grok analyze your data
Once connected, you can ask questions about your trading history and performance.
5. Build your dashboard
Ask Grok to analyze your journal and create things like:
• Win rate
• Average RR
• Expectancy
• Best setups
• Best sessions
• Biggest mistakes
• Rule violations
• Weekly/monthly performance
• Equity growth
• Risk analysis
6. Keep updating your journal
The more quality data you record, the more useful your analysis becomes.
Your journal should not just tell you what happened.
It should help you understand why it happened and how to improve.
No woman leaves a man she respects.
No woman leaves a man without a back up man.
Begging her is pointless. Let her go & deal with it.
You’ll be fine eventually. Don’t throw away your dignity for just one woman.
Bro to Bro:
Look at your goals for the year before you go to bed at night.
Look at it again immediately you wake up
Then look at it again by 2pm
Do this everyday for 60 days.
Don’t miss a day. Be consistent with it
If your life doesn’t change, I’ll delete my X account.
If you don’t have capital to trade, focus on becoming valuable first.
Learn a skill people are already paying for.
Sell it.
Stack your money.
Video editing, design, copywriting, social media, AI, pick one and get paid.
Trading is not where you go to escape being broke.
It’s where you grow capital.
Earn outside the market.
Multiply inside it.
