In their latest Nana BnB episode, in Dokyeom’s room, there were only two blankets and an extra mattress, and DK ended up using the extra mattress as a blanket.

Meanwhile, in Scoups’ room, there were only three mattresses and two blankets. Scoups slept on the floor with a blanket, while Mingyu, Dino, and Joshua all had to share one blanket.

Shin PD shared on Instagram today that she had no idea the members didn’t have enough mattresses and blankets in their rooms, and that they ended up sleeping without them because Seventeen never brought it up or complained to them. She said she only found out about it much later, when they were already editing the video, and felt really sorry about it.

It may seem small to some but I’ll always commend Seventeen for moments like this. Despite the freezing cold weather and having to spend three nights without enough mattresses and blankets, they never once complained or brought it up neither to the staff nor on camera.

They could have easily requested better accommodations, and such a request would have been entirely reasonable but they never did. Instead, they just focused on supporting the production team and respecting everyone working hard to make the show happen.

It’s easy to admire Seventeen for their talent on stage but it’s moments like this that remind me why I admire them even more as human beings. Being considerate and selfless, even when no one is watching, is what makes Seventeen so special.
