Yesterday, Ghana's finance minister @Cassielforson presented 2026 mid-year budget review
To increase accessibility of this information to people who may not speak English, I created an explainer of his report in Twi & Ewe - using @KhayaAI@claudeai Skills.
Took me <20 mins!
If you read nothing at all for 1 month. Read Ebi Bright’s article published yesterday on Centralised Decentralisation.
Well researched. Truly reflective, and Well articulated. And perhaps the most important take on Ghana’s self-inflicted decentralisation struggles in years.
This is something I will recommend a thousand times over for the President. John Dramani Mahama. Those with his WhatsApp number should send it to him.
It’s also a must read for all political actors.
Really good job - Ebi.

The CEO recently hired a certified Scrum Master to transition the entire company to Agile methodologies.
In the year of 2026.....lol
She wears a lot of brightly colored cardigans and uses the word "blocker" like it's a punctuation mark.
She cornered me in the breakroom and demanded to know why my IT department has 0 story points logged for the current sprint.
She pulled up a JIRA board with my name attached to exactly nothing.
I took a deep breath and looked at her with genuine pity.
I told her that Agile frameworks are structurally incompatible with highly deterministic infrastructure topologies.
She frowned and asked how we measure our velocity.
I explained that velocity is a metric for software development, whereas IT infrastructure operates on a paradigm of silent stasis.
I told her that if she ever sees my team logging story points, it means we have been breached and we're actively fighting a multi-vector intrusion.
I said that our productivity is measured exclusively by the absence of catastrophic events.
I used the phrase "asynchronous void management."
She looked at her JIRA board, looked at me, and asked how she was supposed to document what we're working.
I told her that forcing my department to articulate our daily operations creates a meta-layer of administrative latency.
I said that verbalizing our network patches introduces cognitive buffer overflows that jeopardize the entire active directory.
She closed her laptop and apologized for compromising the structural integrity of our network.
She actually categorized my entire department as a "protected legacy silo" in her report.
I'm completely exempt from all company-wide planning meetings for the rest of the year.
I spent the entirety of my newly freed schedule watching 8 hours of a guy restoring a rusted 1970s tractor on YouTube.
Agile is a disease invented by people who want to feel busy.
My job is to ensure nothing happens, ever, and I'm the most efficient man in this building.

The Ghana Medical and Dental Council has disclosed that 17 medical practitioners have been reported with mental health conditions, while 12 others are battling substance abuse.
The Council has formed a health assessment panel to evaluate cases and has held a stakeholder conference to address the issue.

@jeremyb___ He's not the one deciding. Clearly some powers that be are calling the shots. You think as a seasoned coach he wouldn't know Jordan is a shitty player for attacking and scoring? A shitty player like Jordan.
I doubt if Carlos Queiroz is really in charge. Someone is surely pulling the strings for Jordan. A to still be starting every freaking game. It's insane. GFA should allow the coaches to do their work.

"It's not coincidence that all our goals and hard pressing under Coach Carlos Queiroz came after Jordan Ayew was substituted" - Coach Christopher Nimley explains
