@DschlopesIsBack Kind of like the NBA rules. And every other major sport, really. Just suggestions mainly. The refs can’t describe it, but they know it when they see it.
@ClownWorld By the way, the use of a comma rather than a decimal indicates this is a foreigner, possibly visiting the US for the World Cup. U.S. tipping practice is not universal, so maybe these customers deserve the benefit of doubt.
@ClownWorld Anything coming out of my pocket is my prerogative unless we’ve negotiated it beforehand. Servers should demand wages from their employers, not from customers. A tip is a gift, and “fairness” is in the eye of the beholder.
@AliceCo85599004@GoldJustMLP It may be criminal and/or civil. If you give items to a consignment business and they violate the contract with the intention of keeping or selling the items, that seems to be a criminal violation. But, what would I know, I just spent the last 25 years working in federal courts.
@AliceCo85599004 Bricks and Minifigs established the collection's value in their advertisements before they stole it. I think we can all agree the value is unknown until someone actually pays for it, but until then it seems fair to go with the expert's valuation.
