We are all the same, sinners.
We speak of Heaven and Hell
as if certainty were ours to claim
Perhaps somewhere beyond knowing
in an unseen universe
we shall wait
Wait to evolve,
wait to become,
in a different shape,
under a different sky,
at a different time
We shall wait.
darkness grows deeper inside him.
Someone once told me:
A woman is from your rib
so why exhaust yourself searching for her?
And I replied:
Because my rib is not where it belongs,
and I can feel the pain of its absence.
The Bent Rib
Only the moment of parting
reveals what we become after them.
As for stability
it makes a person fragile
but it is a beautiful fragility
like clear water
like a sky heavy with clouds.
But loneliness…
loneliness is the enemy of human nature
It turns a man
against even himself
and drowns him in a sorrow
that finds ugliness in every beautiful thing.
He becomes a creature filled with hatred,
seeing life as an enemy
that must be killed
before sleep
upon waking
while eating,
on the road to work
and with every passing minute
that
