@MrJonesSTRs We allow dogs as a differentiator from the masses in our market, however only charge $150 for the entire stay. This allows for our listing to stand out for those traveling with pets. Is the $1k a threshold for those that INSIST on their pet coming vs getting a few more bookings?
@BowTiedBroke Commercial insurance for 50+ ppl, septic bathrooms supporting this #, parking, noise levels, manager on site to oversee antics. Just a few things I’ve opted out of and directed to actual wedding venues.
@Jamie_Lane Id think all property mangers would use dynamic pricing. Easy sell for the owners showing maximizing revenue opps. Some owners see some apparent holes in dynamic pricing at this point. It will get better but there can be glaring issues that can negatively affect pricing
@Fire5280 I’d struggle to find the positive of draining capital and tying it all up in one asset - even if that means cash flowing $22k/yr. Now you’ve paid taxes on those capital gains and being taxed on your additional income. Based on your equity stance in the home, consider selling

@FranchiseMnA Dimwit. Tax policy is voted by Congress which has had equal party opportunity in the last 20 yrs to so. Some may argue Repubs have had to the upper hand majority of the time. Again, Dimwit. Glad I can add 1/100th of a penny to your social revenue
