My hot take is that CL’s downfall is her perfectionism. It’s keeping her from fully tapping into her creative side. She has the resources and endless connections to create something refreshing and new, but it just seems like she’s limiting herself.

She could be featured in so many cool projects, and if she’s not ready to release a major album, that’s totally fine—but she seems to choose not to do anything at all in 5 years since her Alpha project

She’s also focused so much of her energy and time on the group, only for 2NE1 to not really go anywhere with new content or projects either.

I do believe in quality over quantity, ALPHA was a 10/10 in my book, but she needs a team that’s willing to push her limits and, more importantly, encourage her to just have fun with it in the meantime
