FIVE THINGS 🍄 you should never say when someone is fishing for information:
1. When someone asks a personal question you don't want to answer, don't snap back with, "That's none of your business."
It might be true, but it immediately puts you on the defensive.
Instead, ask:
"Why do you ask?"
Then stop talking.
Most people aren't prepared for that question. Suddenly they're explaining their curiosity instead of you explaining your life.
2. When someone says:
"I heard something about you..."
Don't take the bait by asking:
"What did you hear?"
That's exactly what they're hoping you'll do.
Instead, shrug and say:
"People say a lot of things."
Then leave it there.
If the information actually matters, they'll tell you. If they're fishing, they'll have nowhere to go.
3. When someone asks:
"How much did that cost?"
Remember that curiosity doesn't automatically create entitlement.
You don't owe everyone access to your finances.
Try:
"More than I wanted to spend."
Or:
"Enough."
Then move on.
Not every question deserves a detailed answer.
4. When someone asks:
"What really happened between you two?"
Don't turn into a prosecutor, a victim, or a gossip columnist.
You don't have to destroy someone's reputation to protect your own.
A simple:
"It didn't work out, but I wish them well."
tells people far more about your character than a 20-minute explanation ever could.
And remember: when people ask what happened with someone else, they're also quietly learning what you might say about them someday.
5. When someone asks about plans that aren't finished yet:
The business.
The investment.
The new job.
The move.
The project.
The opportunity.
Stop feeling pressured to reveal everything.
You can simply say:
"I'm working on something. I'll talk about it when it's ready."
Then go back to work.
A lot of people mistake attention for progress.
They're not the same thing.
Talking about goals can sometimes provide the emotional reward of accomplishment without any actual accomplishment.
Protect your plans until they have roots.
The older I get, the more I realize that privacy isn't secrecy.
Privacy is healthy boundaries.
It doesn't mean you're hiding something.
It means access to your life, your thoughts, your finances, your relationships, and your future should be earned—not assumed.
Not everyone needs a front-row seat to your life.
And that's perfectly okay. 🍄
It’s possible the late Moses Matovu’s murder was a heist gone wrong. Ask yourself: why does every eyewitness reportedly know the thug who hit him, yet nobody is naming him or even giving an alias?
He was coming from a performance, so it wouldn’t be surprising if he had money or valuables on him. That kind of setup isn’t exactly new in the ghettos of Kireka and Kibuli.
They say he first hit the woman, yet she reportedly has no visible sign of being struck—by a man who killed another man with a single punch.
As police conclude their investigations, expect the story to change considerably. The final account may look very different from the first version.

800 DAYS SOBER. 🚨 🚨 🚨
When I look at these numbers, I don’t just see days.
I see decisions.
I see battles nobody witnessed.
I see prayers.
I see discipline.
I see freedom.
And above everything, I see the grace of God.
Alcohol — over 2 years.
Vaping — over 1 year.
Marijuana — over 1 year.
Tobacco — over 3 years.
Celibacy — over 2 years.
This is what dying to the old life has looked like for me.
The question is no longer, “How much of my old life can I keep and still follow Christ?”
It is, “What must die in me today so that Christ can be glorified?”
I don’t want pieces of my old life back. I want JESUS.
The path to the glorious life: die to the old, rise into the new, and live for God—not for people.
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.
— Galatians 2:20

TOORO / KING OYO MUSEUM
When things settle down in Tooro kingdom, the meeting I will happily want to be part of is setting up a MESUEM.
TOORO has very many wealthy people and same TOORO has a very rich history and yes, King OYO created massive content in 34 years.
It’s should be a very quality MUSEUM something like Kigali genocide MUSEUM with a combination of artifacts, Videos and pictures.
50% of it should be about the life of KING OYO because he has created content people can spend hours either watching or reading or just seeing.
Locals can pay ushs 20k and none Ugandans can pay usd 30 per person and then make it a numbers game. But needs a private sector mindset fully.
That should include information center about TOOROs attractions, service providers like guides, accommodation facilities etc. a world class cafe is a must.
Kasese and Fortportal are transit points for tourists moving from the northern circuit to the southern one. With this massive focus on the RWENZORI RANGES, nothing is impossible.
If it’s only for KING OYO MUSEUM that can be done in KAMPALA and the reason is basic, numbers plus will create curiosity about TOORO KINGDOM and that could mean more numbers to TOORO LAND.
The King (Omukama).
One who is born during travel (Oyo), his Luo heritage tells us.
The one who sings (Nyimba).
A large spotted hyena or leopard (Kabamba).
The sky or the heavens (Iguru).
The one from the land of the Bakidi, the northerner (Rukidi), of Luo heritage.
What a regal and powerful name befitting Rukirabasaija Omukama Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, as a person, and as exemplified by his reign.
As an Africanist, I absolutely love his full name that is devoid of Anglo-Saxon rooted names.
@ntvuganda Mzee, let's start from school terms being reduced from 3 to 2 per year. And also regulate the amount asked by owners of these schools. I submit.
