Thank you! Shelters & rescues are beyond capacity. Please urge legislators to pass legislation to assist spaying/neutering, or there will be mass euthanasia of healthy, adoptable animals. Lack of surgeries during Covid and surrenders of animals afterward have set us back 25 yrs.
Our animal shelters are at capacity. Today I toured @kyhumane to learn more and to shoot some footage for promotion of their work. Please adopt, foster or at least volunteer or donate if you can - and stay tuned.

Whoever is breeding white shepherds (or anything else) around Hazard needs to just stop. I wasn’t able to find his shelter pic, but I found Sassy’s (who was in foster with him) and many others. Kentucky River Regional Animal Shelter, like all, is overwhelmed!
URGENT ‼️
PLEASE call 1-800-372-7181 and leave a message for both legislators AND the Senate Agriculture Committee to vote NO on SB 157, a pro- puppymill bill, and SB 16, an Ag-gag bill which would prohibit recording animal cruelty on farms. Bills are up in committee Tues.
Several animal bills have been filed. Contact your legislators at 18003727181. These are the bills we support: SB 41-retail sales, HB 253-Kyan’s law, HB 258-torture, HB 311-hot cars & HB 313-retail sales of dogs, cats & rabbits. Ty
