@Stephthepsych@ginnybraun @drvicclarke What she didn't mention is that I came across at least 3 other copies while clearing things out. This one was the colour code annotated version used for viva prep.
Tools like ChatGPT and Google Bard are already playing a role in education, so it's vital we all understand the benefits and risks of this new technology.
We've launched a call for evidence on the role of AI in education. We want to hear from anyone who works in the sector ⬇️
I had a lovely afternoon (sadly all I could spare) @Bett_show#Bett2023. It was great meeting school and edtech leaders - lots for @educationgovuk to think about.
It was nice to meet @TAOTesting too. I was surprised not to see @Inspera or @GrademakerUK - did I just miss you?
Do you want to make a difference to our education system?
Fancy using your #analysis skills to help teachers, parents and policymakers understand how children are learning in schools?
If yes, take a look at our Psychometrician role in @educationgovuk https://t.co/JvF3wOP6Nn

🚨 HELP NEEDED!
I'm trying to find printed copies of the Sun, Mail, Guardian and Telegraph from Friday (9th) and Saturday (10th) for a research project. Do you or your family/friends have copies of these I could have/buy?
@GrahamEvans2@davidngeorge@JosephineCumbo There was a time when pretty much all defined benefit schemes were final salary - so your mis-characterisation was an understandable mistake. All of these attempts to rationalise now make it seem like you are being deliberately misleading. 2/2
@GrahamEvans2@davidngeorge@JosephineCumbo Why bother with all the strange reasoning for calling them the same thing? Final salary and career average approaches are both forms of defined benefit pensions. Pretty much none of the schemes are final salary these days (for people paying in). 1/2
@GrahamEvans2@davidngeorge@JosephineCumbo Defined benefit does not equal final salary. The defined benefit portion of USS is accrued each year using the scheme member's salary at the time - not the final salary they finish on.
My 8yo daughter met a girl at summer camp last year named "Internet." I said no way, that can't be her name but my daughter has been adamant. For almost a year we've been having this discussion.
ANTOINETTE. I just found out her name is Antoinette.
We published a paper on how @admissionstests predict later performance on postgraduate exams. Thanks to @gmcuk for enabling the work with the UKMED initiative, and to Lewis and @ProfTiffin for the opportunity to contribute!
