🇺🇸 THIS BOSS SOLD HIS COMPANY FOR $1.7 BILLION... AND GAVE EMPLOYEES $240 MILLION
Graham Walker just delivered the ultimate Christmas story.
When he sold his family's Louisiana company Fibrebond to Eaton, he had one condition: 15% of the $1.7 billion sale goes to his 540 employees.
The average bonus? $443,000.
Long-time employees got even more.
Some thought they were being pranked when they opened their envelopes.
Walker:
"It was surreal, it was like telling people they won the lottery.
There was absolute shock.
They said, 'What's the catch?'"
Lesia Key started at Fibrebond in 1995 making $5.35 an hour as a 21-year-old with three kids and a pile of debt.
She used her bonus to pay off her mortgage and open a clothing boutique.
Hong Blackwell, 67, a Vietnamese immigrant who worked logistics for 16 years, got several hundred thousand dollars.
She bought her husband a Toyota Tacoma and retired in peace.
One employee took 25 family members to Cancún.
Others paid off homes, funded college tuition, and cleared decades of debt.
Why 15%? Walker's answer:
"It's more than 10%."
This is what loyalty looks like when it flows both ways.

I can’t believe the amount of Deadpool & Wolvie costumes last night. You’ll never know what that’s like if you’re me. I’m five years old, staring out the window at some impossible future. People made mini movies and wore some of the best suits I’ve ever seen. Quoting lines, and performing stunts. Little KidPools to GeezerPools… I’m not aloof or cool about stuff like this — No part of me takes it for granted or feels entitled to it. It’s like having a dream come true — but a dream you didn’t know you were dreaming of.
In 2012, Adidas secured the title sponsorship of the Olympics for $150 million and thought they would overshadow Nike.
However, Nike used a brilliant strategy to outperform Adidas and dominate the Olympics.
Here’s the full story:
Just wanted to say: I’m a mediocre YouTuber, will probably never hit 1 million subscribers. I never had a 3.0 in high school, never took SATs. Took 10 yrs to finish a 4yr degree. I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up. BUT, none of that really matters if you just try to be the best you that you can be! I tell my son that we are triers not winners lol, you just gotta show up and things will fall in place, you can’t stop just because other people are better than you. Now with that, hug your loved ones and have a great weekend!
This is easy, @Nike . Instead of marketing TO Gen-Z, you have to make Gen-Z the marketing. Make them the visuals. Tie an incentive to purchasing like you did us. Buy these Jordans because they’ll make you fly like Mike. Gen-Z doesn’t trust that they’ll hoop like Lebron, so you can’t approach them that way. They know Santa Claus doesn’t exist. Come to their level. Give them what they want & they’ll give you what you want. They wanna be famous. You have the power to fulfill those hoop dreams simply by posting their photo online, which is really all they want. To be seen. Today’s social media driven environment makes Gen-Z feel voiceless in a sea of millions. Amplify them in your product & they’ll come running. “How Do You DN”? Featuring the voices of Gen-Z, kids from 100 followers to 100,000. That’s how you usher in a new generation of loyalty. You’ve got something with Kai but you have to show him doing cool stuff the kids can emulate in the product. And he needs to be wearing DNs ALL THE TIME. Streams, out in public, events, etc….product placement used to be something you all mastered on TV & in movies. What happened?
