Two more books down. Reading has been a bit slower this month. But I’m slowly regaining pace.

Another book finished, and with Isles of the Emberdark done I’m once again caught up with the Cosmere minus the White Sand comic that I still need to read.

These two were pretty fun reads. Red Rising was one that I’ve been wondering about for a while, this was exactly my cup of tea I enjoyed quite a bit.

Finished up Jade City yesterday. This one was a pleasant surprise, and I nice change of pace with what I’ve been reading recently.

And with Chapterhouse: Dune finally done I have now finished the main six books.

Another book finished. Got this one done yesterday, technically two days ago now. Now to finally finish up the mainline Dune series with Chapterhouse.

I finally finished Heretics of Dune a couple of days ago. After a pretty long reading hiatus. Now that Heretics is done I’ve only got one book left to read of the mainline series.

Tried something new here, this one is pretty far outside of my comfort zone. But I thought it would serve as a decent challenge.

A couple of days ago I finally finished Wool after a pretty long break from reading. With this book now done on to Heretics of Dune

Finished book 4. Now this one was different. All of the weirdness of Children of Dune certainly was expanded upon. A pretty interesting character study.

Yesterday I finished up The Poppy War. Pretty good overall. The last 100 pages or so took a turn that I’m not too sure about. The turn wasn’t bad but different. Didn’t hate where it went but I feel that maybe part 3 could have been a bit more fleshed out.

Been a bit slower with reading this month, gotten a bit distracted with playing games here and there. But I finally finished Children of Dune and from my knowledge the first arc of the Dune series.

Not bad, I got through five books this month. Finally getting through my backlog after taking a pretty big break after catching up with the Cosmere.
