Great paper which relates to many of the issues facing mental health nursing and education in the UK. Key myths about #MentalHealth nursing are explored here. #MHDeservesBetter https://t.co/ounNIgrphQ
The period from prenatal to three is the most uniquely consequential window in all of human development.
It is during this period that the fundamental architecture of the brain is “wired” in ways that will serve to support - or hinder - your child’s longterm success in school and life.
Optimal development depends on stable, nurturing and attentive relationships.
In other words, it depends on YOU.
Talk, sing, and read to your baby.
Look them in the eyes.
Play.
Then do it some more.
The dividends will be lifelong.

A big thank you to @NorthpointMH for their generous donation to support tree planting in #Yorkshire. Their donation will help us support more community tree planting events through our #1000TreeChallenge initiative. https://t.co/GxbsIIsZLi @CommForests
The Conservatives have ‘reduced the tax burden’ in very much the same way supermarkets ‘reduce’ the cost of a tin of peas by almost doubling the price for 3 months, then dropping it by ten pence for a week, and marketing it as a ‘cost of living saving’. Fuck off.
NEWS: 'Northern Ireland’s first psychiatric mother and baby unit due to be announced within days... APP’s chief executive, Dr Jess Heron, said it was keen to hear the Department of Health’s announcement.'

There are two things that I'll never understand.
1. Some people vote Tory.
2. Some people actually like Mrs Brown's Boys.
There you are. I'm obviously weird.
@AndrewGodsell@NurseSayNO My mind boggles - got my first ever nursing job at THE FRIARAGE hospital. Even in the time I was there quite a few wards closed and the mental health unit I worked in always at risk. I would love the chance to meet Rishi, but I certainly wouldn’t be smiling or posing for a pic!
